Brand new July 2021!
2 bedrooms 1 bath apartment above a store in the little mountain village of Bloserville, PA. The Pantry Barn is the only store in Bloserville and it is a quaint little market that you are sure to get a couple meals from during your stay. We are so small we have the Newville zip code. Store is opening Summer 2022. We are the owners and live in a farm quarter mile down the same road and are very available shall you need anything during your stay.

Clean and Convenient

We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the apartment. The location is only 25 minutes to the Carlisle fairgrounds and the parking is outstanding for multiple vehicles or car trailers. The drive in any direction is scenic and very enjoyable. The recently completed Dollar General is right across the street, so you definitely don’t need to travel far for simple sundries. I wouldn’t consider it a knock, but for awareness, there is a flight of stairs to access the apartment, and it is on well water. These small considerations do not outweigh the cleanliness and care of the property. Communication with the host (Mary) was very good and arrival/entry was painless. We will definitely stay here again!
Apartments are on the upper level, parking is the lot for the now closed deli/gas station. This shows the flight of stairs and upper deck.

Delightful

This place is in the quiet of rural Pennsylvania. The property sits on top of a market and deli. The owner and property manager is spunky and delightful. It's a happy central place, away from crowds, freeways, and stress. You can star gaze from the front porch. The crickets sing you to sleep every night. Definitely pop down to the deli and try the philly cheese steak wraps. Delicious. If you want to bask in de-stress bliss, this is the place.

Clean, cozy and overflowing with country charm

This was the perfect place for us to escape the craziness of the car show we were attending. Plus, the food from the Pantry Barn (on premises) was SO GOOD! This girl barely cooked. Try the smoothies and the gobs, you will not be sorry. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

A great getaway

I booked this place for my daughter and family after the rental they previously booked was unacceptable. They arrived to this fresh clean and lovely unit that made their vacation. It was a next day booking and Mary was prompt in response and very accommodating. A nice area for family vacation.

Rural Peace and Quite

First things first. Mary was very accommodating, friendly and informative during our entire weeks stay. We wanted something that would offer us some peace and quiet and be central to all our plans. We woke up to chirping birds and a distant rooster in the background in the mornings, had the convenience of The Pantry Barn Deli below us if we needed any last minute food items, and were about an hour's drive from Hershey Amusement Park. If you want adult beverages, do yourself a favor and bring them with you to save the hassle of trying to find something close by. We throughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to rebook in the future.

Feels Like Home

We love staying here! It’s a quiet area, but along a well-traveled route so no need to feel isolated. Just a nice, comfortable place to enjoy time visiting family or taking in some local sights. A real plus is the deli downstairs where there’s something deliciously special on the menu every day. Mary is a “super host” in many ways. Thanks!
