The Farmhouse
Step into a warm and welcoming home designed for relaxing escapes and memorable gatherings.
A traditional farmhouse kitchen offers the heart of the home, perfect for cooking, chatting, and slow mornings with coffee.
A separate dining room provides an elegant space for shared meals, while two inviting sitting rooms give you the choice of cosy evenings by the log burner or relaxed nights in front of the TV.
Large windows throughout frame the ever changing countryside and coastal views, bringing the outdoors into every moment of your stay.
Sleeping Arrangements
With four beautifully styled bedrooms, the farmhouse comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests:
Bedroom One – A serene double room with soft tones and garden views. The bedroom benefits from good wardrobe space and charming built in dressing table and boasts a cosy and welcoming space for a great night sleep.
Bedroom Two – A spacious king bed room with elegant décor and natural light. Double French doors open for a cool breeze on warmer evenings and to take full advantage of the outstanding vistas. The bedroom has plenty of storage space and it's own smart TV.
Bedroom Three – A charming twin room tucked beneath the eaves with both a main and dormer window, perfect for children or friends.
Bedroom Four – A luxurious master king bed suite with fully opening French doors allowing guests to make the most of the views. A large and spacious room it also benefits from a smart TV.

The property offers three modern bathrooms, including:
A contemporary shower room conveniently located on the ground floor, fresh modern fittings include a good size shower and beautiful vanity unit with LED mirror.
On the first floor, guests can enjoy a stunning, beautifully decorated full bathroom with a freestanding bath perfectly positioned next to a picture window overlooking the countryside and sea views beyond. This bathroom also benefits from a large shower and double vanity unit with LED mirrors for the ultimate in guest comfort.
An additional shower room also located on the first floor offers guests a wet room experience with large wet room shower space, again the shower room boasts a charming vanity unit with LED mirror and heated towel rail.
Outside Space
Set within extensive gardens, the farmhouse offers space to unwind, explore, and breathe in the fresh coastal air.
Enjoy morning coffee or an evening glass of wine on the patio, wander the lawns, or simply sit and watch the farm and fields stretch out before you.
The highlight: guests can unwind in the private hot tub perfectly positioned to capture the panoramic views, grab a glass of bubbly and relax whilst taking in the ever changing vistas from golden sunsets to star‑filled skies.
The Area
Located just outside Whithorn, one of Scotland’s most historic towns, the farmhouse is ideally placed for exploring the Machars peninsula.
Discover rugged coastline, sandy beaches, walking trails, wildlife, and charming villages.
Visit St Ninian’s Cave, wander the harbour at Isle of Whithorn, or enjoy local produce from nearby farm shops and cafés.

With its blend of rural charm, modern comfort, and truly outstanding views, this Whithorn farmhouse offers a unique getaway, perfect for families, friends, and anyone seeking space, tranquillity, and a touch of luxury in the heart of Dumfries & Galloway.
The Farmhouse is part of a collection of 3 cottages within the farm itself.
For larger parties a combination of The Farmhouse, The Dairy House and Kevans Cottage offers accommodation in total for up to 16 guests.
Each of the cottages has it's own hot tub tucked away to offer each privacy and exclusivity.

Pass the Keys® deliver a high standard of service for short-let homes like mine, so you can relax with the confidence that the property is professionally maintained and cleaned. All linens and toiletries are hotel quality, and 24/7 guest support is available before and during your stay.
Each home is personally inspected by the local Pass the Keys® team to meet their Property Readiness Standard, giving you peace of mind and a truly welcoming stay.
PLEASE NOTE:- The Farmhouse is located within a working cattle farm, although this is a fantastic opportunity to view the farm animals up close please ensure that children and pets are monitored and do not 'worry' any of the animals.
Dogs should be kept on a lead at all times whilst walking through the working farm area.
IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.
The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property. p
