This beautiful region boasts an exceptional number of activities to try, from a quiet afternoon fishing on one of the excellent rivers, or try one of the challenging 7 Stanes cycle tracks. You will find horse riding, golf, sailing, diving and numerous walks all in the area and with its famously mild climate and the balmy influence of the gulf stream, Dumfries and Galloway is home to some of the most beautiful and exotic gardens in Scotland.
