We stripped the place to the studs and rebuilt it to be the perfect affordable beach getaway. This is the upstairs half of a duplex, each with 2 bed, 1 bath, kitchen and common area.

This was a very nice home. The location was perfect, a short walk or drive to the beach, but also convenient to stores and restaurants. We stayed in the upstairs unit and it was very quiet and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a coffee maker. The beds were very comfortable. The host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again.

Met our needs

The property management kept me up to date with any requests and check in on time, very easy. Finding parking was little difficult. Place was definitely clean comfortable and quiet,(except for Saturday night, was loud downstairs.) very close to the beach, which was nice. It's more like an apartment rental.

Cozy, comfortable and clean

Wonderful location, comfortable home perfect for our weekend. Walking to the beach was so nice and it was close to the Hampton coliseum where my friends and I enjoyed a concert. Would stay here again!

Highly recommended

My wife and I stayed here for the weekend. It was within walking distance of the water and the neighborhood was quiet. We had some HVAC issues late at night and the property manager (Caleb) quickly resolved our issue and was easy to reach. I highly recommend this place.

Overall stay was good, description matched the location and was near the beach. We were frustrated to walk in to damp carpets which soaked our socks when we took our shoes off and an overwhelming dog smell (as if a dog lived there full time -we knew it was pet friendly but smell was very strong and never fully dissipated. We also found socks under one bed that were not ours, as if the beds were not vaccumed under. Unfortunately the bedrooms were warm at night especially if you closed the doors. Ceiling fans would have been helpful in bedrooms as we were on the 2nd floor

Funeral

We were in Hampton to attend the funeral of a family member. As I was bringing my teenage grandson I thought a stay close to the beach would be ideal for him. And it was. The duplex was clean & comfortable. The management is excellent to work with...very quick to respond to any questions. I would recommend. D

Worked for me

Had everything you would need including washer/dryer 
.not far from beach
..a little difficult to find as it’s behind another house and the road to get there looks like a driveway but once you figure it out it’s easy to get to and you have your own parking space off the road
..all in all it worked fine for me.

Perfect for a quiet beach vacation

Overall, the property was just as described and the pictures were accurate to the property. It was certainly big enough to be comfortable for 3 adults and 2 children for a week's stay. The apartment was a very easy walking distance to the beach, and the neighborhood felt safe. Check-in and check-out were also very easy with the keypad locks. I really appreciated that the apartment came with so many amenities available, such as shampoo, soap, toilet paper, dishwashing and detergent packs, and much more. There was even a washer and dryer so we could throw in our bathing suits and towels after a day at the beach. My only complaint was the hair in the drain of the shower, but otherwise, the property had clearly been vacuumed, and the bathroom and kitchen cleaned prior to our arrival. 2 Just an FYI - Buckroe Beach is a bay beach, so while the waves were very mild (perfect for small kids when compared to VA beach), there were also a host of jellyfish near the beach in late July.

Quiet Beach Get-A-Away

The property was great and clean! It had everything we needed to make meals when we wanted. All appliances are full size and kitchen was fully equipped. 2 beach chairs were in the unit. Definitely bring more if you have more people and plan to spend time on the beach (but this was a plus as I forgot mine). The beach is a short walk and was not crowded at all. This property is perfect if you want a quiet place to stay. We used an UBER to go downtown to experience some evening fun. Which you would need to drive/UBER to if you want that sort of thing. You would have to drive to VA Beach if you want the hustle/bustle of tourist town. It's an easy short drive and then you can return to the quiet of Buckroe Beach!!! Communication was quick and easy. We enjoyed our stay and would for sure stay again!

Cozy and Comfortable House

This lovely home was in a great location with easy access to the beach, and has great designated off street parking. It was extra hot out during our stay and the AC was a real blessing when we would return from any outing. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes and some good basic spices which helped with cooking a few meals in. And having in house washer and dryer was nice to have as well. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!!

The unit is just as described, comfortable and relaxing. The place is perfect in location to the beach,a 7 minute walk as described. The place is immaculately clean,kudos to the cleaning .company. Review directions closely the building is in a lot behind a house,but worth the stay. I would use this again.
