Summary:

Adorable and quaint lower unit has 2 bedroom, 2 bath in the heart of Newport Beach. This value units has fabulous people watching from patio. The master bedroom has a king bed and ceiling fan. The en-suite bathroom with cool glass countertop has a shower with custom rain shower feature. The second bedroom has a queen bed, flat screen TV and a ceiling fan. The second bath is nearby in the hallway. One car carport parking. SLP # 11738



The Space:

This charming lower unit on 32nd Street is just a few minutes on foot to the beach and steps from the grocery store, shopping and dining options. 32nd Street is the perfect spot for swimming, boogie boarding, skim boarding, surfing and sunning on the sand!



The living room has a full sized sleeper sofa, coffee table, round table with four chairs for dining or evening card games, tile floors, a wall-mounted flat screen tv, and a wet bar. The gourmet kitchen features professional grade appliances, granite countertops, tile backsplash and all the amenities needed to dish out family favorites. The home also features a generous breakfast bar perfect for casual dining.



A large sliding glass door opens out from the living area onto the spacious front patio.



The master bedroom has a king bed, flat screen TV and ceiling fan. The en-suite bathroom with a cool glass countertop has a shower with a custom rain shower feature. The second bedroom has a queen bed, flat screen TV and a ceiling fan. The second bath is nearby in the hallway.



The “office space” that leads to the bedrooms has a small desk and chair and extra storage room.



Outfitted with a table, chairs and umbrella, the front patio is perfect for your morning cup of coffee or barbecuing and people watching after a long, relaxing day at the beach. Please keep chair cushions in the house when not in use. The carport accommodates one car and the shared washer dryer is located in a laundry closet in the carport.



Explore the Peninsula on two-wheels or by foot via the boardwalk/bike path. The Newport Pier area is minutes away with shops and local eateries galore. Across the street, is a large Pavilions grocery store and plenty of casual restaurants. Newport Beach has plenty of immaculate restaurants within walking distance of this home and others only a short drive away. Local options abound for family fun!

-We try our best to keep updated on remodels/construction happening around our vacation units. However, construction can pop up anytime in the City of Newport Beach without notice. N.B.V.P is not responsible and will not issue refunds due to neighboring construction. City construction hours are M - F 7am to 5pm.

Host was inattentive and non responsive. Ceiling leaked water into the master bedroom. Flooring in the master bedroom is warped and peeling. Water stains on the walls where baseboards should be. Lights and outlets that didn’t work. Several warped boards and molding throughout the house. Master bath shower hardware covered in calcium deposits. I booked this residence for 2 weeks and left after 3 days.

Great Location

Great location, across the street from grocery store & restaurants, 2 blocks from beach. House a bit dated, shower knob fell off, as well as towel rack. Appreciated A/C in bedroom, as well as fans. Nicely decorated & liked the split door which allowed ocean breeze to circulate, as well as sky lights. Could use some better outdoor furniture & umbrella

On busy street very noisy. Poor ventilation, home unbearably hot, no window fan to bring in cool air. Shabby (not sheek) furnishings. Needs painting. Needs repairs. Terrible refrigerator. Broken coffee maker and knives. Dining table and chairs for midgets. Only seat 4 little people. Shower in master not working properly Good thing was air in master. Kitchen area nice. Home is well stocked with any needs. Overall extremely disappointed. We paid a very dear price for a shack. Vrbo did not do their job of vetting and letting home be listed. They did not earn $499 fee which I plan to challenge

Getaway

First- great location!! Loved walking across the street to the grocery store and other food places. Beach was about 2 blocks away. Property is old and needs some remodeling. Kitchen (bowls, cups) are sparse. Linen (towels) are limited as well. No shampoo/soap. I would think a place this close to the beach would have a few beach chairs to take to the beach and enjoy.

Fantastic location! Better than the photos!

I highly recommend!! Grocery right across the street, 2 blocks from the beach! The photos don’t really do it justice. It’s much bigger and nicer than I expected.

The listing pictures did a good job of showing the property, however, what you cannot see is the cleanliness of the house. While it was generally clean, there are areas (above the fridge, and stove hood) that have been neglected over the last couple of months, possibly years. Overall, we were happy with the decision to rent this home, just wished it was a little cleaner.

Nice stay!

Felt I was buying a house with all the documents I had to sign after booking. House is very homey and only a few blocks from the beach! kitchen is well equipped and has a great front patio, its on a busy street and accross the street from a little shopping area, so if you are looking for a quiet patio area this is not your place. We loved watching people :) Beds were not made, they left the sheets on the bed for us to make it which i ve never experienced before. The patio was not cleaned before we arrived, a lot of spider webs and dust but the house was clean! I would definetly stay again! It was great for a relaxing weekend with friends. No AC, only fans and 1 portable AC, we stayed at a nice time but I could not stay here at summer time unless they get more portable ACs, the one they had worked great. The people at management company were very nice whenever I spoke with them.

Loved it!

We enjoyed our stay at this beach house very much. We could walk to everything, grocery store, many restaurants and the beach. It was a very hot week so we were very grateful for the standing air conditioner in the master bedroom but the living room we had a hard time cooling off. We used one of two fans but probably should have set up both in front of the two large sliding doors in the living room. We spent our down time sitting on the very comfortable front patio. All in all we loved it!

Sun, sea and ocean breeze

We have a house nearby, and were looking for a place for family coming into town. First, we love Newport. We understand the reality of the limitations and expectations for parking and noise, so those were absolutely no issues for us. The other thing we understand is how hard the ocean is on houses. For the minor things that weren't perfect, we get it. So for the general living and kitchen areas, all was great. The outdoor patio is lovely. The kitchen has EVERYTHING you'll need, in the way of tools and serving and prep things. BBQ works great. Handiman was INCREDIBLE. The response time to a leaking toilet flapper and missing pole for the umbrella was awesome. He was really nice. And we appreciated the quick response. MUST stop for paper products and soap. There was neither for us, but no big deal with Pavilions directly across the street.

Nicely decorated, convenient location., easily accessible for husband who uses cane.

Very nice, third room nice, need a few mixing bowls, also would be nice if you kept some cleaning supplies there like windex, swifter to wipe floors. Also recycling container.

Three bedroom..not so much.

The location is great. Convenient shops and groceries within steps. Burr Realty was so nice to work with. However, the property is advertised as three bedrooms which is a stretch. It would work if you had small children but there was no way our teenage grandson could sleep on those pillows they call a bed. He slept on the couch..not ideal. The house was rundown and didn’t have things you would expect for a beach house e.i. no beach towels or beach blanket, beach umbrella etc. It was not very clean and had several repairs that were necessary as in the bathroom hot water didn’t work in the shower or the sink. Between the unusable bedroom and bath, this is actually a two bedroom, one bath.

Perfect location

We loved this property, just the right size for 5 of us to sleep and hang out comfortably. Loved that the grocery store was directly across the street and so many amazing restaurants within walking distance. Beach was only blocks away, and they have a beach wagon which was very helpful. We will most definitely come back to this property or another one that the company manages. The only issue is was parking our large SUV in the carport but we made it work.
