Weekend Getaway

Was in town for a wedding and this was the perfect place to get away from the busy downtown Newport Beach area. Just a quick bike ride away from all of the activities.

Great little spot

You are in an oceanfront property (in the back unit, facing the one-way street), and the windows over the loft bedroom allow you to hear the waves crashing as you go to sleep. Loved that. All the joy of the beach in Newport without the chaos (and traffic) of going out on the peninsula. One observation: lots of stairs (to the upstairs unit and to the loft bedroom), and they are funky, narrow stairs. It wasn't a problem for us. Tower 17 (the property manager) was very responsive. We had a great week!

Great location but very cheap accommodations.

Location was amazing but the owners are very cheap. There were literally 2 towels in the unit, one extra blanket that was very old and uncomfortable and the bed was horrible. The washer and dryer needs quarters to use. This place has the potential to be amazing and for what they charge it would literally take such a small amount of money to provide some quality for the guests.

Awesome Place

Not being completely familiar with the Newport Beach area, was a bit worried about proximity to the beach. Wanted to be as close as possible, while staying in our budget. Absolutely loved the location. The beach was literally 25 steps away! A close bike ride to shops and restaurants and short Ubers to shopping and really good restaurants. Absolutely will be back!

Place is very close to the sand, but keep in mind not facing the ocean. For 1 bedroom, it's way better than a hotel and the neighborhood is nice. If you can cook, there's a kitchen. If you want to hang out near the beach, there's this place. Would come back

Quick trip to the beach

Needed a getaway for a few days. This place was nice. Right on the beach. It does not face the beach but the building is on the beach. (We would have preferred the main floor unit facing the beach, but it was not available). Unit was clean and comfortable for two. We got out exercise going up and down stairs. It probably would not be the right fit for someone with a problem negotiation stairs. Nice and clean. Owners were very helpful and nice. We would stay there again.

Fantastic

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay again! The unit is well stocked with bikes, beach chairs, sand toys, etc. to enjoy the best of the beach and surrounding area! We loved eating out and relaxing on the patio with umbrellas and lounge chairs. When we needed something, it was taken care of immediately! Thank you!
