Located in the picturesque village of Corbridge, four miles from Hexham, Kenmore is a beautiful two bedroom terraced cottage with plenty of charm. The perfect retreat for small families and groups of friends, this cosy holiday home has everything you could need for a quiet getaway. With beautiful interiors throughout, a spacious living room, a fully-equipped kitchen-diner, and free WiFi Kenmore sleeps up to four guests and will provide memories to treasure.
The Space:
Kenmore has a bright and roomy living area. With a fireplace amongst traditional exposed stone, itâs the perfect spot to cosy up and unwind. Relax on one of the blue velvet sofas and turn on the flat screen TV to enjoy a quiet evening in. A Sky Puck is available in the property allowing you to watch on-demand content and stream your favourite apps such as Netflix and YouTube among others.
With stylish interiors, the light kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need to prepare meals easily, including an oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, and fridge-freezer. The dining area, also sharing the space, features a breakfast bar style dining table and four comfortable chairs, making it great for enjoying hearty meals with your loved ones.
Head upstairs to the master bedroom and youâll find a comfortable king size bed with premium bed linens. Bedside tables, lamps and a wardrobe complete the space.
Also on the first floor is the second bedroom which is configured as a twin room, with two single beds. Pops of colour are added with the soft yellow furnishings and floral wallpaper. As with the first bedroom, youâll find ample storage space for your personal belongings.
Spacious in layout, the family bathroom is fitted with a bathtub and a separate shower. The bathtub is perfect for an evening soak after a busy day of exploring Northumberland. Keep your toiletries out of the way by making the most of the storage cabinet provided under the wash basin.
There is a communal green garden with a bench at the rear of Kenmore where you can enjoy morning coffees or take in some fresh country air in the afternoon.

Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
A parking permit is provided, allowing for free on-street parking nearby.
Pets are not permitted to stay at Kenmore.
Two bags of logs and a bag of sticks are provided for the wood burner.
The Neighborhood:
Kenmore is located in the village of Corbridge in the high uplands of Northumberland. If youâre looking for a relaxing retreat in the countryside, this is the ideal place. Steeped in history, the village is home to independent shops, restaurants and bars, all of which are within a short walking distance from Kenmore.
A small Co-op supermarket can be found just around the corner from Kenmore, whilst larger stores such as Tesco, Waitrose and Lidl can be found a few miles away in Hexham.
Ideal for walkers and cyclists, Corbridge offers access to various beautiful routes nearby, and youâll find part of the historic Hadrianâs Wall a short distance away.
When in and around Hadrianâs Wall, you can also walk through the Roman town's streets and experience a time-capsule of Roman life. Home to the Corbridge Collection, you can also discover Roman armour and trinkets uncovered with the Corbridge Hoard at the museum. The Hoard was one of the most significant finds in Roman history, providing us with a fascinating insight into the life of a soldier on the Wall.
Corbridge is also just four miles away from the charming town of Hexham which was voted Englandâs favourite market town by Country Life magazine. With great shopping facilities, local inns, restaurants and a buzzing arts scene, there will be plenty for you to discover. If youâre interested in history, head to Hexham Abbey which dates back to 674. For those who want a fun day out, Hexham has its own racecourse where you can enjoy the races and incredible views of the rolling countryside too.
Getting Around:
Corbridge train station is roughly a 15 minute walk away from Kenmore. From here, youâll have direct rail access into the Hexham and Carlisle in one direction, and Newcastle and the Metrocentre in the other. A number of connecting routes can also be found from these stations so getting to other locations around the UK could not be easier.
Both the Tyne Valley 10 and X85 bus routes run to Hexham and Newcastle, with a stop in Corbridge.
