Room with dinner cost the same amount more as your dinner allowance, than a room with without dinner. But you cannot spend your allowance on drinks which means my stay cost me more than if I'd have just booked without dinner. Queried this with reception staff after settling my bill but was told I would be called back by the manager which never happened.

Easy access to Jarrow

Nice couple of days stay. Enjoyed use of pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Beds very comfortable. Only negative was we arrived an hour before check in. Asked if room was ready and she said she can see but if is then will be £10ph. To me if the room is ready then you should be able to go in.

Nice place

Stayed here a few times for work purposes, the food is good and the staff are excellent and very friendly. Definitely my go to hotel when in Sunderland!
