Things to Know
Boats can be launched at Cedar Grove Marina and the Brogan TVA free launch. Both are off of Rt. 33, less than 5 minutes from the house.
Trailer parking is available at the marina (do not bring trailers or boats to the house - it is on a dead-end street).
There are about 100 steps to access the private dock.
There is year-round water at the dock (but steeper access/additional steps during the off-season due to the lake being lower during this time).
The covered slip is not available (the owner's boat is stored in it), but the dock has two uncovered slips that can be used free of charge for your boats.
This home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors!

Dock details: The private dock can accommodate boats up to 28-feet long and two boat slips are available. (The covered boat slip is not available for guest use.) There is no boat lift, and guests must drop their boats at the dock prior before going to the home.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Awesome Place (Except for the Spiders)

Everything was great except the spider infestation. Several of us got spider bites. My aunt had a giant spider crawling on her while we were all sitting on the couch talking. My daughter in law had one crawl down her forehead while laying in bed. In general I think the house could use a little TLC. We never found a broom so I went home and got mine.House was the perfect setup and location for our family reunion. Lots of kitchen utensils and cooking items. Great patio for morning coffee. Hot tub was hot and ready. Kids wanted to do s'mores by fire pit but there was no firewood and chairs had spiders all over them. We enjoyed swimming off the dock.

We planned a trip for 7 women to relax all weekend. This house was perfect. The pictures really don’t do it justice. It’s beautiful, spacious, well-equipped and the view is spectacular.

Fantastic stay

My family had an amazing stay at this home. The view was stunning and unforgettable. There was plenty of room for my entire family (there was ten of us). It provided plenty of privacy as well. The house was very clean and they provided everything from games, books, TV’s and more. Everyone loved the house and all that it provided!

Management company was unaccommodating.

The house has beautiful views, is decorated nicely, the kitchen is well stocked, the hot tub is well maintained and it has great sleeping accommodations. I was a bit disappointed that there wasn’t a yard for the kids to play (steep yard leading to the lake), the walk down to the dock is very steep and the exterior wasn’t well maintained. There were so many spider webs on the deck it seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. When the management company reached out to us right after check in I told them about the deck and they said someone would be out to clean, but no one ever showed up and communication was very difficult. I also asked about a nearby marina to rent a boat and was told to google it
.wow was all I could think. The fees on this rental are sky high, (the fees were equal to the nightly stay rate, so double the nightly fee to truly know the total for your stay) so I expected better communication and guidance. We also asked for a slightly earlier check in and check out (it is a lengthy check out process). When I put in these requests and asked questions it took days for an answer and I had to send requests twice and of course both requests were denied. I liked the house but will never rent from a Vacasa run property again.

Fantastic location. Great house.

Fantastic location if you bring a boat. Quiet side of the lake with little traffic and literally 5 minutes to gas the boat at Cedar Grove marina. Boat slip is on the side of their dock- and is uncovered so expect your boat to get really wet with the rain that occurs here almost daily. House was out of natural gas when we arrived and couldn’t be filled for 2 days, so we had to eat out for the beginning of our stay. Grill also only had one functioning burner so burgers cooked very slow. Otherwise beds were fine, kitchen was well stocked once we could use it and cook. All was clean and comfortable. Hot tub was a fun addition. Would stay here again, hopefully with a working stove/oven for our entire stay.
