I had been looking forward to taking my family on a beach vacation for a while. I had been looking at condos up and down New Smyrna and I kept coming back to this one. It was a little bit pricier than some of the others, but based off of the reviews, the pictures, and location we decided to book it. We were not disappointed!
The entire trip was extremely easy to manage. The property owners were very responsive, clear, polite, and concise on all communication. When we arrived the checkin instructions matched exactly what we were told, accessing the unit was so easy, and walking into it was a joy.
It was clear the unit had been renovated at some point. The kitchen and bathrooms were really well done. The sleeping and living areas were decorated nicely as well and very comfortable. They had plenty of beach goodies for our daughter to enjoy and made our trip extremely relaxing.
The building, grounds, and beach access were very straight forward and made being on vacation a very easy vacation. The pool isn't anything special, but it was clean, warm, and really enjoyable. The quick easy access to the beach is by far one of the biggest perks. Parking was also not an issue as we were issued passes for our vehicles and the facility is gated. Another perk about the property is that the floor it is located on seems to be the default floor one of the elevators is always on. So when you hit the button it seems nine times out of 10 the elevator opens right up. This sounds silly, but it's just another little benefit to make a perfect trip.
As for the area, my family has been vacationing in New Smyrna Beach for 30+ years. I've stayed at properties and beaches all over the world. I can say I absolutely love New Smyrna. From the shallow sloped beach, great restaurants, vacation atmosphere, to being able to see rockets launch right from your balcony, it's probably one of the best kept secrets out there. On that note, if you do stay, definitely check the launch schedule. We were able to see a Flacon 9 launch on our trip from this unit and the beach. Just one of the many perks.
So in short, if you're looking for a great place to have a nice relaxing family vacation, I would definitely recommend this as an option!
