Location was great! Place was pretty good. Not sure sheets were clean as some stains on them.
The spot downstairs that was supposed to be stocked each day with extra towels never had any.
I had a full apartment, including a kitchen, sitting and dining area, really quite big and nicely set up/ decorated. But the only window in the entire unit were double doors to a private patio, which was more like an air shaft, so it was quite dark. Its also quite noisy as the doors on the floor shut with a bang. The location is convenient for seeing the French Quarter. However, it is self-check in with a code for the entrance and room, and I only received instructions when already traveling, same when I left.
No broom, no toaster, no cutting board, no iron. Phone calls to get towels, toilet paper. Kitchen area grubby. Had to clean area.Unable to sweep floor. Only one hook in bathroom. No wardrobe in main room. Had to drape everything.
Location was excellent though.
We were extremely disappointed with our experience at this property. Unfortunately, it fell far below our expectations:
Property Condition: The property did not match the pictures advertised. It was poorly maintained and felt unkept throughout our stay.
Amenities: The amenities were minimal and did not justify the price. The TV lacked local channels, and the shower didnât work properly.
Service: When we reported the shower issue, the person sent to fix it used vulgar language and seemed unsure of what to do, which made us feel uncomfortable.
Overall Experience: While the location was great, everything else about the property was subpar. The lack of upkeep and professionalism overshadowed any positives.
We would not recommend this property and hope management takes steps to improve both the facilities and the quality of service.
Roami is under New management and I will never stay with them again after having a wonderful prior experience with the old company. They were horrible to work with - I got wrong information, was cut off several times when trying to get answers, and worst of all they told me Expedia refunded my paid in full money and that I would need to pay them directly just hours before check in. They took my money and charged me more than the original amount I paid to Expedia. Of course, no money was refunded. So I paid them twice. They are impossible to deal with. Not to mention the place was in bad shape. Broken tiles in the shower, the water trickled out of the taps, and the cabinets were completely bare. Just a few glasses. Every wall was scuffed and paint was chipped everywhere. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.
While we loved the room itself, we lost some time of our stay due to not being sent the code to check in. I had to get on the phone with two different agents before finally gaining access to our room. Luckily, we had family nearby to store our luggage and wait it out- but had we come from the airport without people we knew, we would have been standing outside in the heat with all of our luggage waiting to get inside. I did ask that we be compensated the time on the checkout day to makeup for this error, and while we got communication the day before explaining it COULD be a possibility if nobody booked the room, when I contacted the morning of our checkout to see if a booking had happened and if not, if we would be able to stay, I got absolutely zero response about a possible late check out. Definitely a bummer!
Unfortunately we had issues when we arrived at property as we had not received our codes for entry into property or codes to our unit. It was very stressful as we needed to borrow a phone to contact property (our phone was Australia with data only). Thankful for the gentleman who lent us his phone. Once we contact property manager he gave us the required codes promptly and we could access property and unit. Very stressful situation.
Once inside unit it was a very pleasant moment the unit was very welcoming, clean and well maintained. We did enjoy our 2 night stay.
This apartment was extremely nice. The only issue that wasnât really a big issue was the leak in one bedroom where the ceiling was coming down. Outside of that the floor plan, rooms and beds , bathroom and kitchen and living space were beautiful and comfortable. I wish they had more pots and pans because that is a kitchen that made me want to cook!
