The Neighborhood:
The Bywater neighborhood is known for its food as well as Southern hospitality. This hip, yet quiet neighborhood is the kind of place where neighbors say hello to one another and gather together to watch the Mardi Gras parades each year. The Crescent Park Trail is close by, which runs parallel to the Mississippi, and offers a great place to walk or run in the morning. With its close proximity to the French Quarter and no shortage of bars and restaurants on St. Claude, this is the perfect location to soak up everything NOLA has to offer.
All guests after booking will receive a personalized list of recommendations including locals favorite spots, restaurants, and activities. We will provide detailed information and guides on the surrounding area to enhance your overall experience.
Getting Around:
New Orleans is a compact city, which makes getting around a breeze in an Uber or Lyft. The French Quarter is an 8-10 minute drive away, which will never run you more than $10 (which is even more affordable when you split it with your group!).
Biking is a convenient option as there are plenty of rental shops nearby. This is a walkable neighborhood -- take a stroll along gorgeous Crescent Park on your way to the French Quarter.
