Welcome to New Orleans, where dreams lend themselves to reality in this vibrant pocket of the city. Rows of colorful homes, brick store fronts, and soulful music streaming through the streets greet you on every corner. If you’re looking for that picturesque and authentic experience, then look no further than our masterfully reimagined unit within this historic building. Formally the Cafe Du Monde Coffee warehouse, this unit has been renovated with high-end furnishings and decor.

This property abounds with special amenities, including a splash of tech enabled features, including High-Speed WiFi, flatscreen TV's, 2 full bathrooms, washer and dryer in-unit, and colorful art and decor to round out the authentic experience.

Our bright and open space is the perfect setting for a mid-sized group or family. This modern home can sleep up to 4 guests. The bedroom and bathroom configurations are as follows:

Bedroom 1: 1 Queen Bed with TV and en suite bathroom
Bedroom 2: 1 Queen Bed with TV
Common Area: 1 Full bath and 1 Pull-Out Sofa

The home is professionally cleaned prior to every stay and stocked with plenty of linens and towels for your group.

From beautiful sights, taste bud tingling foods, and vibrant live music, who wouldn’t want to visit?! We recommend using public transportation, including streetcars, buses, Uber or Lyft during your stay. For another fun way to explore the area, try Blue Bikes, a ride sharing bike rental all around the city. If you do end up driving in, there is plenty of street parking (paid hourly during week or free nights and Sundays, or paid garage parking is available right across the street (601 Tchoupitoulas Garage, around $30/day but rates can change at any time. Best to book through their website for LAZ parking).

Upon acceptance of your reservation, you will receive a welcome letter containing all of the information you need to access the home and ensure your stay is a memorable one! If you have any additional questions, we are available at any time to assist.

We recommend using public transportation, including streetcars, buses, Uber or Lyft during your stay. For another fun way to explore the area, try Blue Bikes, a ride sharing bike rental all around the city.

**There is a $200 security/damage deposit collected 3 days prior to arrival, and returned shortly after your stay. This is done as a $200 hold on your method of payment, not a full charge. Please see the rental agreement (required to be read and signed before booking) for more details. ***
1. The booking guest must have their ID uploaded to their airbnb profile.

2. Please be mindful of the neighbors sleeping. We recommend being quiet after 8:30pm (weekdays including Sundays) and 9:00pm (weekends).

3. While early check-in / late checkout may be available, this must be arranged ahead of time for an extra fee. Unauthorized Late checkouts are a $50 charge for each hour after 11am - a 15 minute grace period is given. Late checkouts MUST be requested before 9PM the day before your departure.

4. Clean towels are a provided amenity. Each guest listed through your reservation will receive 1 bath towel and 1 face towel. We are unable to fulfill requests for additional towels during the duration of your stay. Plan ahead while packing, please bring extra towels if you or any of your guests anticipate needing more.

5. Smoking & vaping in the unit will result in a $500 deodorization fee. Please smoke outside of the property.

6. Unregistered guests and parties are prohibited by local laws and ILLEGAL. Our occupancy limits are set by local ordinance. Any guest found to have had a party or over-occupancy will be charged a $1,000 fee for non-compliance with local laws. Exterior cameras present at the property to verify these laws/house rules are not broken. As of May 2022, Airbnb has specifically banned parties from their units. Violation of this rule will result in a ban from Airbnb.

7. Please do not hang or attach anything to the walls with push pins, tape, etc. or other painted surfaces.

8. Please do not use face towels to remove makeup, it damages the towels.

9. If the space is left excessively dirty $50 will be charged for each additional hour of cleaning required. Removal of bodily fluids will result in a charge of $150. Glitter cleanup will result in a charge of $100.

10. Unauthorized pets will result in an additional $250 deep cleaning cleaning fee and immediate request to leave. Pet Boarding recommendations available upon request. Both the owner and staff have pet allergies. If traveling with pets please inquire about our pet friendly units.

11. After you’ve read these rules, please send me a message with the words “yellow kangaroo” it will let me know that you have read the rules thoroughly.

12. Unfortunately, we cannot accept bookings from “Locals” at this time. Locals is meant to include anyone residing within 60 miles of New Orleans.

13. While we cannot receive any mail or packages to the space we will assist with getting packages shipped to New Orleans if needed.

14. Commercial video and photo shoots are strictly forbidden without prior and authorized consent. Associated day-rate fees, liability waivers and copyright contracts will apply if consent is given.

15. Message us for long term stays.

16. Trash is picked up daily.

17. All of our TV's are streaming, we do not provide any account information, you will have to log into your own. Please remember to log out at check out. We do not have cable TV.

18. Should you wish to receive an early check-in or late check-out, please let us know the day before and we will determine if it's possible. We require time to prepare the unit for your stay or after your stay for the next guest and sometimes we are unable to accommodate. If we can accommodate, we will charge $25/hour for the additional booking time. This will also be in place for dropping luggage off or leaving your luggage after checkout time has passed. Payment will be requested through Airbnb after your additional time has been approved.

19. Lost Items: We return lost items for a $75 flat fee.  This is to cover shipping costs, along with the time spent to retrieve & mail your item. If you leave anything at the unit, please let us know immediately.

Very enjoyable stay! The accommodation was very warm and comforting. It was a real New Orleans vibe and feel. From the artwork to the decor, it was very impressive. Great location to most everything. I truly enjoyed the location. I wish I had my family with me. It would have been just enough space. Very clean, I mean very clean. Trul loved the experience and would definitely stay again. This time with family. Thanks so much for the hospitality of the host!

Go Birds!!

This apartment was exactly as depicted on the listing. Clean, everything worked as expected and everything in the apartment was new and modern. The location is second to none. Easy walk to French Quarter (but out of the hecticness), easy walk to Superdome and the Lower Garden District. Nice neighborhood with stores, restaurants and bars nearby. One to two minute walk to get provisions. David was absolutley fantastic and incredably communicative. Check-in was seamless. Would unequivocally stay here again when visiting New Orleans.
