The Neighbourhood

Nelson Bay, the largest town in the Port Stephens region, is a lively coastal destination perfect for families and tourists. With a range of activities, such as dolphin watching cruises from the Marina year-round and whale watching from May to November, there is always something exciting to do. The Bartlett Bikeway offers a scenic 5km route along the waterfront, leading to the historic Nelson Head lighthouse, built in 1875. Located just 2.5 hours north of Sydney and 34km from Newcastle Airport, Nelson Bay is an ideal seaside escape.

For convenience, we recommend guests travel to Nelson Bay by car. Secure onsite parking is available for those with a vehicle.

Age Limit: We do not accept reservations for groups with travelers under the age of 23 years unless a specific exception has been approved. Travelers under the age of 23 that are traveling with a family group with a parent are more then welcome to stay with us.

Supplies: A complimentary welcome pack will be provided that includes several single-use items to get you started including tea, coffee, sugar, creamer, soap, laundry, and dishwashing supplies. For extended stays, please bring extra provisions.
