When I booked the Halfling House, I knew it would be terrific, but it was so much more! It was truly magical. My husband and I stayed for four nights, and we loved every minute. Everywhere you turn there is more to see. The home is so cozy and so comfy. We loved the well-stocked kitchen, which was very easy to cook in. I made large meals two nights with no problems. There is a wide selection of cooking and baking tools. The open shelving makes everything very easy to find. I watched "Fellowship of the Ring" on my tablet while cooking, which was pretty meta! There are two tables in the kitchen, and one of them extends to seat 10, although there are not ten chairs. Pro tip: You can move the bench in the tub bathroom and the bench in the living room into the kitchen to make ten seats. The bathrooms are both quite large. There is more than enough storage area for personal items. The living room is cozy, with a couch, two comfy chairs, and a bench. There are led candles EVERYWHERE, which is so fun! The ones in the kitchen have a remote on the shelf to make it so you don't have to reach up to the tippy top of the shelf to turn on the candle. These candles add so much ambience to every room. There are so many outlets and so many light configurations! It's amazing. Two things to note: It gets bright early in the morning, so bring an eye mask if you don't want to wake with the sun. There are not doors on the sleeping rooms, just curtains, so prepare to mitigate sound.
