Elk Ridge is your perfect mountain getaway! On beautiful treed acreage, near national forest land with miles of trails. Located between Salida and Buena Vista, the house is a short drive to the Mt. Princeton Hot Springs. The views from both house and deck are unbelievable. This house is comfortable for one large family, or two smaller ones.
Elk Ridge is a single story mountain home that welcomes you with open concept living, dining and kitchen with a wall of windows framing the Sawatch mountains. The master bedroom suite is a dream come true - king bed, office area, and a huge bathroom with soaking tub and separate shower. There is a door out to the back yard. The second bedroom has a king bed, the third and fourth bedrooms each have a queen.
The three car garage has been converted to a game room, with ping pong table and couch.

All Pinon homes are "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchen, towels and linens. Hand, dish and shower soaps are provided, as well as toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, salt and pepper, coffee filters and laundry soap.

Pinon Vacation Rentals provides guest support from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 pm.

All guests are responsible for reading Welcome Book “Check-In and Check-Out instructions.

~Acceptance of the terms of the Rental Agreement and all Rental Policies is ASSUMED at the time of reservation. 24 to 48 hours before arrival, check-in instructions will be sent to guest.

**This home is rented for personal vacation use only. Any other use including large gatherings or parties is not allowed. Renters must abide by all rental terms and policies, as well as all local applicable property covenants, restrictions, regulations and laws. Any evidence of smoking, use of firearms, driving ATV's other than in the driveway as access only, unapproved pets, unauthorized use of property grounds, damage resulting from violation of rental policies, and/or excessive mess may result in charges up to $3000.00 to the Guest's credit card on file, as authorized by Guest's approval of the terms of the Rental Agreement.

Reservations may be canceled more than 30 days prior to check-in with full refund. 14 to 29 days prior to arrival 50% refund. No refunds will be issued after this cut-off date for any reason. No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions, spotty internet service or interruption of service.

Very nice and clean house we spent two days there. Went to Salida for dinner for to nights. Very close to the unit also spent the day captain zip line would recommend it to everyone have a great time very exhilarating

Our favorite rental home

This was our second stay in this home and this home is one of the reasons we keep coming back to Salida. It meets our expectations of cleanliness and is very comfortable and we'll appointed. The kids love the game room with ping pong table and the yard to play in. We are already planning our return and third stay in this home.

Beautiful home

This was our second time staying in this beautiful home. We really enjoyed the house, the views, and the convenience to the hot springs and ski area. Pinon did a great job communicating with us. The home was clean and well stocked. Check in and check out were both very easy.

Elk Ridge Home

Our family of 5 absolutely loved our stay at Elk Ridge! There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out and the kids loved the ping pong table. It was close to both Salida and Buena Vista. I really enjoyed the large soaking tub in the master bath and spent alot of time on the back patio watching the hummingbirds and chipmunks.

Lovely home; dark skies at night

5 adults stayed here for a long weekend and we loved the house! Plenty of comfortable beds and bedrooms, nice big kitchen for group cooking, large dining table for means and games, and comfortable furniture in the icing room to seat us all. The sitting room off the master and several outdoor spaces gave us quiet places for reading and alone time. We also enjoyed doing astrophotography from the patio! We look forward to a full week here some time soon.

Amazing Place

We had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful with gorgeous views! It was very clean, good layout, plenty of room! We appreciated the extra appliances, spices, etc. Love the floor heating! The location was close to Salida to go into town and to head to Monarch Mountain where we were able to go snowboarding. Easiest one of the BEST places we've ever stayed. One item of note just for the owners reference, the outside trash can is not bear proof. The latch does not reach the hook.

Just like home!

Spacious home with everything you need. We have never stayed in such a well-appointed VRBO home. Everything is provided for your comfort. Two lovely outdoor spaces with views of Mount Antero. Good quality linens, towels, etc. Nice dishes, flatware and cooking pans and utensils. Lots of extra “surprises” here and there. A very comfortable place to enjoy this beautiful area of Colorado. We used the big game room as the workroom for our crafting retreat. Great stay!

We have stayed at this location before and loved it. The only thing this time that was a little frustrating was when I arrived I was told to text Check-in. I did that expecting a text with my entrance code and never received one. I called and was made to feel that I had done something wrong and I should have known it was the last four digits of my phone number. After looking at all of my communications I cannot find that I was ever told that. Otherwise things were great.

House was clean and loaded with amenities. Lots of room to spread out. Beautiful views. Located where you could have many day trips. Just a great experience!! Our timing was perfect for Yellow Aspens and even some snow.

The house was perfect for our family gathering. The kids could play in the room with the ping pong table. The back patio was the perfect place to have coffee in the morning and drinks in the afternoon!

Great house for families.

The house was perfect for our family ski trip! Amazing scenery and great accommodations. So much space to get separation if needed, but also a large dinging area and table to come together. The kids loved the game room. Worked perfect for coming back from skiing to hang out, and not a far drive into Salida if we needed to go in. The beds were so comfortable, and they were all Queen beds or bigger. We’ll definitely be looking for future trips to this place.

Great large house

We had a wonderful time at the large and light-filled house. Plenty of room for 8 of us. Great views of the mountains and the elk in the valley below. Stay here if you can.
