No heat in pool
The listing said pool & hot tub (the hot tub is in the pool) but we were never informed that we couldnât heat it. After discussing this with the owners we paid an extra 1,000 for 7 days of heat in the pool. They had to have the gas company come out & fill the tank & then it could start heating which took a couple days so we didnât have the option to swim being the water temp was at 69 degrees. It did say on the listing that there was a HOT tub but it was the same temp as the pool. We eventually had a heated pool but almost every day after that the heater would shut down & the pool would start to get cold again. It wasnât the least bit relaxing having to deal with this every day & needing the pool company to come so often along with having to change plans w/ the kids multiple times to doing a beach day, etc. instead of a pool day. We also celebrated my nieces bday & all she wanted was a relaxing but upbeat pool day & we woke up to the pool heater not working again so we had to go to a local pool instead. There also wasnât much info prepared in regards to the house, check in/out, garbage/recycling, etc. Not a big deal itâs just not what weâre used to when booking a VRBO. The house itself was beautiful! Itâs very modern & in a great location! I could definitely smell that a dog lived there along w/ the dog hair but Iâm a dog lover so it didnât bother me but I could see how it could w/ someone who isnât a dog person. They did put air fresheners in some places though which helped
