Step inside The Purple Whale to the inviting living area with comfortable seating. The well-equipped open kitchen offers an island, providing extra counter space and an additional seating area for 2. Enjoy plenty of natural light from the wall of windows in the separate dining area.

Three comfortable, tastefully decorated bedrooms await your arrival, including a king en suite with a private bath, a queen bedroom, and a pyramid bunk bedroom that's perfect for the little ones. A queen-sized pull out couch in the living area offers an additional sleeping option.

Outside on the sun deck, embrace the warm ocean breezes with a cup of coffee amidst the warmth of an Outer Banks sunrise, or unwind on the back deck with a glass of wine and enjoy the amazing sunset over the sound after a fun-filled day at the beach, located just across the street!

When not spending time relaxing on the beach, splash around in the above-ground pool, play a game of cornhole in the back yard, or kick back with a good book in the inviting covered area. Before heading upstairs, refresh yourself in the outdoor shower.

The beautiful beaches of Nags Head can be conveniently accessed via a crosswalk at the Gull Street public beach access, only approximately 200 feet away from The Purple Whale. The Purple Whale is also located just a short walk (less than half a mile) from many restaurants and family-friendly activities! The whole family will love Jennette’s Pier, offering public beach access with a bath house, an aquarium, and of course, world-class fishing. The newly-updated Whalebone Park Playground can also be found nearby. This property is pet-friendly. There is an additional charge for guests bringing pets, which will be added and collected after booking. Pet fees range from $161-231 depending on the property, and will be assessed state and local taxes.

Sheets and towels are not provided but can be added to any reservation for a nominal fee.
