Great pet friendly, large house

Stayed with my fiancé’s family for a week with our 2 dogs and everyone had a great time! It’s a great location and the pool is very nice!

Family vacay

Loved the house and everything available in it. It looked and smelled clean. The only complaint was we did see about 8 roaches and they were not small (biggest was probably 3 inches). We also bought batteries for the TV remotes because most were missing (could’ve been from previous guests) but that wasn’t a big deal. Overall we had a great time and it was very convenient to everything.

Great house to rent

This is our 5 th year coming to OBX and our second year renting Whalebone. We love the house and the location. The house is clean and they did some updating around the pool. Even though the weather was not the best it was close to the aquarium, shopping, restaurants. I would definitely recommend renting this house we will definitely be back.

We absolutely love the house!

The house was even better then the photos. very clean, pool was amazing! Loved that you could acess outside from every room. We loved the hammock swings and being across the street from the beach acess. You can see the sun rise and set from the crows nest ❀ I would definitely recommend this house and i would definitely rent it again. This was our 4th year coming to OBX and i can honestly say this was one of my favorite house. Thank you for making our stay the best!!!!

Whalebone Villa

The property was great. The beds were comfortable. House was the perfect temperature. Location was excellent. Short walk to the beach. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets everyday all without leaving the property. Amenities were more than expected. Kitchen was very well stocked. Appliances were newer and in excellent working order. There were a few things that required a deeper cleaning. The pool area did require our attention. There was garbage and deflated rafts and toys as well as pebbles on the concrete. We threw away what needed and gave a quick sweep and all was right. I think it’s just wear and tear from a long season. Overall wonderful property and stay. The pool table football dart board and corn hole boards were nice also.

This was a great house for our OBX trip!!

This house is absolutely beautiful and fit are large group wonderfully! We had some issues with things not being cleaned properly and some maintenance problems! The maintenance issue was fixed quickly! I took the cleaning problem into my own hands and cleaned the house myself. I did complain to them after we left about the cleaning issue they said we should of said someone and they would of sent a crew back out. We had already been in the house with all the kids and I didn’t want to be walking around a cleaning crew! That was the only problem we ran into! Apart from all that let me say this house was so tastefully decorated and the views from the balconies were amazing! The sunset pictures we took every night were absolutely breathe taking! The pool and hot tub make a great add on with this house the kids loved the pool and us adults enjoys the hot tub! The house is located near everything like the store, beach, pier, gift shops also the fish market we bought fresh sea food and had a boil! I would stay here again just next time make sure they have it cleaned correctly before I arrive!

The out side off the property is really bad the grass has not ben cut for weeks the pool was dried the pool guy came by and check chemicals and left thing at the pool are falling apart
