OCEAN VIEW STUDIO ON THE GOLDEN MILE!! SAND DUNES RESORT is located on the beach in the beautiful section of Myrtle Beach known as the "GOLDEN MILE", the quieter section which is perfect for family vacations, beaching, shelling, walking and relaxing. It is centrally located to pretty much everything.
Unit 2944 (on the 9th floor) has an amazing ocean view. It has recently been updated. It has two queen beds, small fridge, coffee pot, and microwave. Just come in and open the sliding glass doors, relax, and soak up the salt air.
SAND DUNES RESORT FEATURES MANY OCEAN FRONT AMENITIES! Enjoy the beach, large pool, lazy river, splash station & kiddie pool which are all located ocean front! Relax at the indoor pool or indoor jacuzzi. (NOTE: WE ARE NOT AFFILIATED WITH THE SAND DUNES ONSITE RENTALS. THE WATER PARK AND FAMILY FUN ZONE LOCATED NEXT DOOR ARE PRIVATELY OWNED AND WE DO NOT HAVE ACCESS.)
Convenience store on-site, work out in the exercise room, get a manicure at the on-site salon, or try the Fish Shanty or pizza shop that is also on-site. Try The River City Cafe, located in front of the resort, which is known for some of the best burgers on the beach. Right next door you will find Starbucks.

All bedding and towels will be provided. the quilts on the bed will be washed between each guests, so EVERYTHING will be cleaned. You will get 4 towels, 4 washcloths, and 2 hand towels for a stay of 3 nights or less. You will get 8 towels, 8 washcloths, and 4 hand towels for anything over 3 nights. If you would like to bring your own that is fine too.

WE ARE NOT AFFILIATED WITH THE SAND DUNES ONSITE RENTALS. WATERPARK AND FAMILY FUN ZONE NEXT DOOR ARE PRIVATELY OWNED AND WE DO NOT HAVE ACCESS!

My family and I loved our stay. Loved the convenience of having everything on site. We loved the pool and the balcony facing the ocean. Would highly recommend for a budget friendly ocean vacation! Can’t wait to stay here again!

Everything was exactly as pictured. Location was great, beach was easy to get to. My only critique would be that the beds are doubles and not queens. If a family is staying there the room is very small, but serves its purpose! Would stay again!

The owner was very responsive. If we needed something, they took action immediately. Overall the entire property was very average. The desk clerks were not helpful at all, parking was horrible. Overall the place looks old.

Nice little vacay!

Overall, we had a great time!! Only thing I would say is that the beds are double size not queen size like stated. The pool was nice, it’s got a beautiful view. It was a little small for our family but we didn’t mind it!

It is a tease to the kids when they aren’t allowed in the waterpark that they can clearly see from the room. Other than that the room was clean had a good view of the beach and pool. But I think that I’m the details you should mention that once u get there and kids see the water park that they aren’t allowed to go into it. I know it’s not in the description of the room but it’s visible once u get there!

Overall good property

Room was clean, check in was easy, ended up booking an extra night with ease. Communication with the owner was quick and responsive. Our only criticism is that the room description states 2 queen beds but are only doubles. This was disappointing as my husband is over 6 feet and I’m a bigger woman. It is something I always look at when booking for comfort.

Perfect room right on the beach

I stayed for Labor Day weekend and this was a perfect room. Beds are comfortable and very clean. The balcony has a perfect view of the ocean. The hotel has a restaurant with delicious food, and we were pleasantly surprised at the prices. My children loved the pizza and ice cream shop! Perfect!

Vacation/professional meeting MB stay

We really enjoyed our stay in this unit at Sand Dunes. We loved being able to see and hear the ocean each morning when we woke up, and spent a lot of time on the balcony. Access to the beach was also quick and easy - we enjoyed the beach toys from the room! The room was all a family of three needed. The beds were comfortable with good mattresses. The fridge/freezer and microwave were a big help for storing food we brought and reheating leftovers. We liked the layout and decor, and the bedding and towels were clean and fresh. Our host was fantastic! She was quick to respond to any questions I had, which was greatly appreciated. Walking to my conference hotel was a little less than a mile, and was pleasant on the days I attended sessions. Additionally, there was plenty to do/restaurants within walking distance of our room. We enjoyed Ava’s Pizza and River City Cafe. Very few downsides, but the closest parking garage is tight for full-sized trucks. We were happy in the “additional parking” garage across 74th, which never filled up and was a bit easier to navigate. The Resort ice machines were not working on floors we checked - nothing out host could change. Lastly, I wished that we had brought our Swiffer vac to help with sticky sand that inevitably made it into the room - but we so appreciated that there was no carpet! Overall, this stay was a great value, and we would recommend and do it again!

My daughter and I stayed there for a weekend cheer competition and it was a great location- walking distance to dinner, close to the convention center, and church. It was clean and quiet and we would stay again.

Clean room and a nice location

The room was clean and the location was nice. The room and beds was/were a little small for our family of four( two adults and two older teens) but it worked. Parking was easy. Overall it was a good stay.
