Immaculate Oceanfront King Suite! Completely Updated! - Caravelle Resort 1414 - Sleeps 2-3 Guests!

This is an absolutely incredible, completely renovated luxury romance suite located at the Caravelle Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC. The search for your next vacation stops here! Check out this 14th-floor, direct oceanfront studio apartment. The condo is fully furnished, and the layout accommodates 2-3 guests.

In the fall of 2022, this apartment was completely renovated and features some truly luxurious updates. We couldn't be more excited to share them with you. To start, all carpeting was removed, and LVP was installed throughout the bedroom area. New baseboards were installed and painted. The entire unit was repainted with modern, welcoming colors! In the living area, a rock wall with a built-in fireplace was installed. Guests will enjoy the LED electric fireplace and the flat-screen smart TV. Retractable curtains were installed over the windows, and guests can open and close them with ease. The headboard was refinished to complement the comfortable king-sized bed, and the 2 nightstands were custom made. Everything in this condo is practically brand new! The love seat, which was newly installed in November 2022, converts into a twin-sized bed. Guests will enjoy relaxing on the sofa by the fire while taking in endless views of the Atlantic Ocean!

In the kitchen, the cabinets were prepped and stocked with basic cookware and kitchen necessities. A new marble countertop was installed, along with a modern tile backsplash. The stainless steel appliances complement the cabinets and countertops beautifully. Guests will enjoy all new appliances, including a microwave, stove, oven, and fridge/freezer.

No expense was spared during the bathroom renovation. Out with the old, in with the new! The bathroom features a spacious tub and shower, a modern vanity, and an oversized mirror. Just outside the bathroom, guests will enjoy a second mirror and countertop, making it much easier to get ready. The extra space is much appreciated! Guests will also have access to a linen closet and dresser for storage. A PTAC unit near the balcony door provides both heat and air, so guests can adjust the temperature to their comfort level.

Entering the living area, guests will find the most relaxing part of the entire condo! This open and spacious floor plan offers endless views of the Atlantic Ocean. The 14th floor provides such great views, and many guests have sent us photos of colorful sunrises, hand-painted sunsets, and even dolphins! The living area features a love seat, dining table and chairs, an Alaskan rock wall with a built-in fireplace, a TV, and access to the oceanfront balcony.

The kitchen area is located immediately upon entering the condo. The kitchen features full-size stainless steel appliances: a fridge, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, and plenty of cabinet space for storage. Cooking a meal or snack will not be a problem. These appliances are brand new as of November 2022. For guests who prefer to dine out, Myrtle Beach offers hundreds of dining options, many of which are within a short walk or drive from the Caravelle Resort. Many restaurants in the area offer delivery, but if not, guests can rely on food delivery services like Uber Eats and DoorDash.
Throughout the condo, guests will enjoy tile flooring in the kitchen and bathroom, LVP flooring in the bedroom area, fresh paint, a beautiful accent wall, new furniture, and modern decor (all as of fall 2022). The homeowners spared no expense.

Pack light! We provide our guests with bath towels, washcloths, toiletries, bedding, and everything you will need to enjoy your stay. We also provide basic "starter toiletries," including toilet paper, paper towels, dish liquid, soap, shampoo, lotion, and conditioner. Additionally, our guests will have access to basic resort cable and Wi-Fi.

Located at The Caravelle Resort, this unit is in close proximity to Myrtle Beach's most beloved attractions. The resort is situated on the northern end of Myrtle Beach but is still close enough to everything the area has to offer. There are multiple restaurants within walking distance of the resort, and central Myrtle Beach is about a 10-minute drive (with traffic). The Myrtle Beach International Airport is only a 15-minute drive from The Caravelle!
Our guests will now have access to the on-site restaurant and tiki bar by the pool!

Lower your expectations

Trying to review only the unit itself and not the overall property, but you still need to park (horrible in the attached garage. Garage across the street is MUCH better), still need to use elevators (only 50% working), and still need to walk thru the property to get to the unit (noticeable smell of marijuana especially on ground floor and parking garage). For the unit itself, unfortunately, our first night there was a very unsatisfactory experience. there was a tropical storm in the area, the unit flooded with water, there was a horrible whistling noise coming from the front door due to wind. We were unable to sleep due to the noise and needed to walk thru an inch of water to get from the bed room to the bathroom at 3 AM (see photos). The flooding, sleeplessness due to kazoo noise coming from door, etc. were reported to the management company at 8 AM. Maintenance came out a few hours or so later and cleaned up and "fixed" the problem. By my observations, this is not the first time something like this had happened with this unit. Even with the tropical storm, It's not unreasonable to expect the interior of a unit on the 14th floor to remain dry and quieter than it was. These were unlivable conditions. After the water was cleaned up, and the place was returned to livable expectations, the rest of our stay was uneventful and the accommodations were adequate. Due to the initial experience, flooding, extreme noise levels, and sleepless night, I cannot recommend the place.

Mixed bag

We were happy with the room. The property was nasty. There was trash everywhere. There was minimal cleaning going on. Carpet in the hallways - a definite no no. All the cleaning issues, if addressed, would make this place pretty nice. Also, parking is a nightmare. The parking garage is too small. We saw a truck hit the parking structure because it’s too small to maneuver in.
