DEER LODGE
AREA
Located on the Joe River, Deer Lodge is perched along the only navigable waterway connecting Lake Joseph to Lake Rosseau! Close to the Joe River Bridge and Pride of Rosseau Marina, the cottage is only a 5 minute drive to Port Sandfield and Minett, and 14 minutes to Port Carling for shopping and dining. Other nearby well-known attractions are just 8 minutes away for a round of golf at The Rock, the JW Marriott, The Rosseau Resort and Spa, and Clevelands House. Commuting to Toronto can be accomplished in under 2 hours and 30 minutes.
PROPERTY
DEER LODGE - As you approach the cottage via the round-a-bout driveway, Deer Lodge looks like a modest bungalow with a 3 car garage. But, as you venture around back on the stone pathways, a glorious backyard waterfront with stone stairs cascade down to the river will capture your heart! A spectacular 2 storey cottage with flowing decks on both levels is perfect for enjoying a Muskoka summer outdoors. The main deck is home to an exquisite covered outdoor kitchen with plenty of seating. Hidden among the trees, Deer Lodge is extremely private on a quiet part of the wide Joe river. The path way continues down to the river front to where a waterside fire pit with Muskoka chairs invite you to enjoy the night sky and roast marshmallows. The path continues down to the dock where a seadoo lift can be found and as well as mooring space for 2 boats!

Spacious room featuring an extra large island with seating for 8. Granite countertops, and upper glass cupboards gives this space a real inviting country style. Appliances include double door fridge, microwave, dishwasher and gas range with grill and oven.

Gorgeous harvest table that seats up to 16 with chairs - a true statement piece to the open concept living space.
