Launching from Walker's Point Marina Old Woman Island is a magnificent private island located in the heart of Lake Muskoka. With great proximity to local amenities including Bala, Port Carling and Gravenhurst, there is sure to never be a dull moment!

PROPERTY
OLD WOMAN ISLAND has an extensively landscaped 16 acre private island property that is second to none! Old Woman Island provides renters with 7 matching buildings, including the main cottage, two boathouses, a fitness facility, tennis court clubhouse, yoga pavilion, and a coach house. Safe to say that you will have plenty of space and privacy! The island comes with 6 beaches, ample seating and lookout points as well as miles of winding trails that you can either travel by foot or golf cart. Old Woman Island is sure to keep you active and in-touch with nature. The property has fully irrigated lawns, gardens and planters as well as level grassy lawns resting outside the Main Cottage and Guesthouse. The Guesthouse also comes equipped with large covered pavilion area perfect for events, concerts and large parties.

The main dock is furnished with lounge chairs for soaking up the sun after a dip in the lake or taking in the breathtaking views of the lake. The stairs beside the main dock lead you up to the Main Cottage's large veranda. It is furnished with plenty of outdoor furniture with ceiling fans above, a round table for outdoor dining, and another table sits close by. A beautiful outdoor kitchen with a BBQ and wrap-around countertops makes outdoor dining easy! The Main Boathouse has 4-interior boat slips and is surrounded by a large dock with cleats for additional boat parking, front and rear covered deck on the upper level, and hot tub! The 2nd Boathouse has a large interior boat-slip as well as front and rear decks for taking in the surrounding scenery.

The yoga pavilion is located on the western point of the island and has 3 structures including an outdoor shower, bathroom and octagonal yoga studio. The tennis court comes with basketball nets as well as sleeping quarters in the clubhouse. While traveling the miles of walking and jogging paths on the property, you will come across two separate resting areas with furniture made out of abstractly designed wood, and two fire pits with picnic seating, built in charcoal grills, and plenty of bench seating. An outdoor lighting system connects all the buildings as well as the beach and fire pit areas for night time activities.

The beaches are scattered around the island, offering a different vantage point with beautiful views of the surrounding area. Beach #1 has north east exposure, 2 picnic tables, 6 Muskoka chairs and a rocky entrance into the water. Beach #2 has south east exposure, Muskoka chairs, a floating dock to swim to, as well as a shallow and sandy entrance into the water. Beach #3 sits a stone's throw away from the Guesthouse and offers south exposure, Muskoka chairs, kayak and stand-up paddle racks, and a shallow and sandy entrance into the water. Beach #4, located beside the 2nd boathouse, has north east exposure, Muskoka chairs, and a shallow and sandy walk-in to the water. Beach #5, the largest out of the 6, offers 14 Muskoka chairs, a picnic table, and a shallow and sandy entrance into the water, perfect for young kids. Beach #6 has west exposure and is named "Sunset Beach" due to the amazing views seen in the evening. It has picnic tables, Muskoka chairs, a large pig-roaster for dining by the water, and a shallow and sandy walk-in to the water.

The Guesthouse is furnished with a sectional couch, a kitchenette, and a table for 4.
FITNESS FACILITY
The open-concept fitness facility comes equipped with a treadmill, elliptical trainer, cable tower, bench press, and free weights. It also comes with separate laundry facilities and a large prep kitchen.
TENNIS CLUBHOUSE
