Beautiful secluded property

The pictures of the house don’t do it justice! The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dinnerware. The dining room table seats 10. The deck seats 12+. The beds were comfortable, even the twin beds were comfortable for adults. The secluded location was really wonderful, and my husband and niece enjoyed the kayaks. The whole family had lots of fun for the week!

Great week at the lake!

We had a wonderful time at this lake house! (We stayed at the other house 4 years ago, with a larger group.) Short walk down to the covered dock. We brought our boat and the dock was perfect. The kayaks were a great thing to have on site, kids enjoyed them. The house was clean, cute decor and fully stocked kitchen. The basement with extra couches and TV was very nice too. It was the perfect setup for our family. Thanks for sharing your lake house with us. Lots of memories made here!!

Relaxing Labor Day Weekend

We spent Labor Day weekend at Kentucky lake enjoying the weather, the lake, the dock, the house & the deck. The views were beautiful all around. It was a great get away!

Great Boat Dock!

We had a group of 5 adults and 4 kids (9-11 years old), and this place worked great! The kids loved having the bunk room. I chose the house because we were bringing our boat and wanted a place with a dock. The posting said they replaced it a couple of years ago, and they did it right! The dock is extremely well built, with composite decking (no splinters), plenty of space for all of our gear and toys, and easy to get in and out of. Great experience!

The pictures on the listing does not do this property justice! The view from the deck was amazing and the inside of the house was much more updated then i thought it was going to be. We had very minimal issues and the couple we did have were not even worth mentioning. Kristen was very quick to respond to any and all messages. I would 100% stay at this property again without hesitation!!!!

Great Lake House

Our family had a great time at the Kentucky Lake House. Access to a private dock was a bonus and helped with the boat we rented (at Lynnhurst Family Resort). The house is well stocked and my family like how the drawers and cabinets were labeled in the kitchen making it easy to find everything. We really had a great time and would consider returning for a longer stay. Communication with Kristin was great--very quick to respond.

Kentucky Lake, home away from home

Overall our stay was pleasant and comfortable, we would stay there again. Had a couple unpleasant surprises and I let the owner know about and I’m sure it wouldn’t happen again. The home was stocked better than expected for the beginning of our stay, a very pleasant surprise.

The house was in a perfect location for the lake. The covered dock was perfect for our boat all weekend. The house was clean and plenty of room. Communication with the owner was excellent! Would definitely stay again.

Seclusion

If you are looking for a place that is pretty secluded, this is it. The view was beautiful to see the sun rise on the lake. There's only a couple of houses close by, so you may hear people if they are occupied but not a whole shore of them.

KY Lake Home - Pretty good

The exterior of the home is not being well cared for, in our opinion. The porch needing cleaning, there was a rocking chair completely rotted out, the tables were not wiped down, the downstairs patio was really dirty, there windows weren't clean, the landscaping needing trimming, there's a half dead oak that needs to be taken down, the dock wasn't picked up after the last group who used it and no where did it mention that August was May fly season and there would be TONS May flies & larvae in the water. Be warned the dock is currently in very shallow water and we had snakes, snapping turtles, huge fish and lots of May flies which made swimming off the dock challenging for some. BUT - let me tell you the good things. The house has plenty of room and the interior was cleaner than the exterior. The kitchen is well stocked, the dining room table is long and has plenty of space for large families (although seating isn't real comfortable). The downstairs family room is spacious, the laundry room has a great washer/dryer, a freezer which was great for extra ice needs, plenty of towels, plenty of kitchen appliances, pots, pans, coffee maker, tea kettle, cutting board, soap, trash bags, silverware, knives, bowls, measuring cups, spices, vegetable oil, a very large side by side fridge, a good oven/stove, a nice dishwasher and even some coffee was available! The beds were relatively comfortable although for adults the bottom bunks aren't really very comfortable. The AC works VERY well and that hot water supply system is incredible. View of the lake is great and there were plenty of games for the rainy afternoon we were there. Two televisions are there but we ended up not using them at all. One bathroom is actually inside one bedroom, the other bath is shared by the two remaining bedrooms. Driveway is easy in/out. It is steep to walk down to the dock but I noticed that's just the way it is for the most part on KY lake. We tried to leave the house in good order and we did all the things asked for upon check out. The management folks were responsive to our emails and provided all the details we needed prior to arrival.
