Welcome to this unique and atmospheric log house in Torreby, beautifully located right on the edge of the bay in Munkedal. Here you live in a peaceful and natural setting with a private jetty, your own bathing ladder and the possibility to rent a boat – a perfect choice for those seeking both comfort and closeness to nature and the sea.



The accommodation offers a wonderful spa experience with sauna, shower, toilet and an outdoor jacuzzi – all with views over the water. Perfect for relaxing after a day at sea.



The house has 11 regular beds. In bedroom 1 there are two beds (105 cm), one bed (90 cm) and a sofa bed (140 cm). Bedroom 2 has two beds (90 cm) and bedroom 3 has one bed (140 cm). In the loft there are three mattresses (90 cm) and in the upstairs living room there is a fold-out armchair (105 cm). If needed, up to 13 people can sleep here, for example if two persons share the sofa bed (140 cm) in room 1 or the bed (140 cm) in room 3. In the upstairs living room the TV functions as a screen, you can use the house WiFi to stream via your own phone, tablet or computer with your own subscriptions.



The living room is spacious and social with dining area, sofa group and a piano. From the upstairs bedroom you have access to a small balcony with a view.



The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need: induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge and freezer, coffee maker, toaster and plenty of workspace. Fiber internet, washing machine, tumble dryer, fireplace and heat pump make the stay comfortable and pleasant all year round. Note: Outdoor furniture is available from May 1st to October 1st.



Things to do in Torreby and the surrounding area:

Torreby is known for its beautiful castle, hiking trails and the popular golf course Torreby GK.

The house is only about a 10-minute walk from Bohuslän’s oldest golf course. The course is not only historic but also one of the most beautiful and prestigious in the region, surrounded by castle, parkland and views over the fjord.

For golf enthusiasts this is a dream location – start the day with breakfast on the terrace and then walk directly to the first tee. Torreby GK offers a challenging and well-maintained course that attracts both experienced players and beginners.

If you want to explore more of Bohuslän, both sea, mountains and small coastal towns such as Fjällbacka, Smögen and Lysekil are within easy reach.

Uddevalla can be reached in about 30 minutes by car and offers a wider range of shopping, restaurants and activities.



Good to know about this accommodation:

• A deposit of 5000 SEK is mandatory and must be paid on arrival. Refund is made about 1 week after departure if the house is left in approved condition.

• Bed linen and towels cannot be provided – please bring your own.

• Final cleaning is mandatory and costs 2500 SEK/booking.

• Electricity is included in the rent.

• Firewood can be bought from the owner for 125 SEK/bag, payment on site.

• A boat is available for rent (engine included). Minimum rental period is 3 days at a cost of 4000 SEK. For a full week the price is 6000 SEK. A boating license or equivalent must be presented. A separate rental agreement for the boat must be signed – contact the owner for signing. Boat rental is paid on site.

• Smoking is not permitted.

• Pets are not allowed.

• Youth groups are not accepted and parties are not allowed.
