The kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances, including a dishwasher, oven, microwave, and toaster. Beyond, the leafy backyard awaits with a BBQ for casual dining and a seating nook beneath a mature tree — the perfect spot for unwinding under the stars.

Each of the three bedrooms features a queen bed, built-in wardrobe, and private TV for your comfort and convenience. Two open directly onto the front porch, offering a peaceful spot to enjoy the morning air, while the primary includes an ensuite. The remaining bedrooms are served by two additional bathrooms—one with a shower over a bathtub and another with a walk-in shower beside the laundry, complete with a washer and dryer for extended stays.

A rear gate provides quick access to the historic Forgandenny Guesthouse, where you can enjoy a game on the tennis court (BYO rackets). Three driveway parking spaces and free street parking make arrival easy. With split system air conditioning and heating in the living, dining, and all bedrooms, along with ceiling fans, the cottage stays comfortable in every season.

Along Church Street, you’ll find cafés, boutiques, and favourites like Dancing Goat, Lawson Park Hotel, and Mudgee Brewing Co. Start your day with coffee at Outside the Square, browse local shops, or enjoy live music and wine at Roth’s Wine Bar & Cellar. For a casual drink, Three Tails Brewery is close by, while Coles in the centre makes stocking up easy. Take a nine-minute stroll to Robertson Park, home to Mudgee’s monthly markets, or wander along the Cudgegong River at Lawson Park. On quieter afternoons, head just five minutes by car to Mudgee Golf Club for a relaxed round surrounded by scenic countryside, or drive six minutes to Burrundulla Wines for a relaxed tasting in a rural setting.

Please note, firewood is only supplied to guests from April to September. If you are staying outside of these months, please be sure to pick some up on your way!
