Fantastic location — super close to both campus and downtown! The house was spotless, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook for our son who attends CMU. Kenneth was incredibly responsive and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great stay.

Location, location, location

Although the neighbor looked a little seedy and the porch could use a coat of paint, the interior was just fine for our stay. (Central Michigan University graduation). The price was right and proximity to CMU was key. Although the write up mentioned a hot tub, there was none and the residence was lacking in mirrors. Multiple females with only one bathroom mirror just doesn’t work. Each bedroom could use a mirror big enough to do grooming !

Birthday get away

My sister and I stayed for two nights. It was clean. Definitely an old home with many renevations and still in need of some. An odd set up with bedrooms upstairs and the only bathroom on the first floor, Kenneth and Logan were kind and let us check in early. We had problems with the TVs. Logan came and fixed one, but the other two did not function as directed. We ended up using two remotes for the one bedroom. If you like to stay up late or like the night life, you will enjoy staying here. There was a bar close by and they played music very loudly until after midnight.

Great Place to Stay in Mt Pleasant

My mom and I came to Mount Pleasant for the CMU-NIU game. My niece is a FT assistant athletic trainer with CMU's football team who got her Bachelors at NIU and her Masters at CMU. I work in DeKalb IL and my agency has a partnership with the child care center at NIU, so we attend this game every year. We decided we did not want to stay at a hotel, so we found this listing through Expedia. We couldn't be happier with it. It is cozy and clean and close to everything we wanted and needed. I think the furthest we had to drive was 10 minutes. The kitchen is nicely laid out and it was easy for us to cook some meals rather than go out all the time. We enjoyed the experience of staying in a home rather than a hotel and we had excellent communication from Kenneth. It is close to the bars, and we could hear the music Saturday night, but it wasn't so loud that we couldn't watch TV or sleep when it came time to go to bed. The neighborhood is nice and Kenneth did a great job of explaining the parking "rules" so it was easy to know where we could and could not park. I would gladly stay at this property again. The hot water in the bathroom is HOT, so that is the one caution I would give to prospective guests. It heats up fast and if you set the temp much past center, it is really hot. Great water pressure in the shower as well. The keypad entry was also great because we didn't have to keep track of a key. Great play to stay! I highly recommend it.

Weekend Trip

12/10 experience at this VRBO! This was the perfect place to stay if you’re looking for somewhere walking distance to downtown Mount Pleasant. Kenneth went above and beyond to make our stay great. With great communication, comfy beds, and a full kitchen, this was an ideal setup for a weekend trip. We will be returning!

Long weekend stay!

Had a great stay again with Kenneth and Logan! Great hosts - checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed! Well supplied home- comfortable and always clean. When I come to town I look for one of their places first. Definitely recommend.

Great Location in Downtown Mt. Pleasant, MI

Right downtown near the restaurants, shops and nightlight -- but still a peaceful stay. Close enough to Central Michigan campus to walk. Property was clean, comfy and the host was great! Would definitely recommend and would stay again!

Quick Trip, Would Stay Again

We came out for a concert at Soaring Eagle. It was more affordable to book here than to do a hotel. Overall a nice clean place and a quick walk to downtown restaurants and shops. We'd stay again if we had another concert to attend. Be aware...weekend nights are loud with college kids partying at the local bars.

Very Welcoming, Quaint, and Clean

Quaint and cozy little apartment, half of an older little house, in what seemed like a historic neighborhood. Very clean and well cared-for, with lots of welcoming and cute touches, fully stocked kitchen, excellent towels, linens, etc. Very kind and helpful owners, very easy to deal with and quick to help when we had a small problem. Reasonable house rules, easy check-out process. Although we never had time to use it, wi-fi and very nice screen viewing options in living room and both bedrooms. We were in town for a family event, and just needed extra places to sleep and a warm spot to gather our small group between outings - it met our needs very well. Generally quiet area, although could hear neighbors in other half of house, and some music coming from a nearby venue fairly late on weekend nights. Still, quieter and so much more pleasant and home-like than any hotel!

Nice place near downtown.

Originally booked here to be close to soring eagle for the concert Saturday night. Enjoyed the location and comfort of the home. You could hear the neighbor’s when they got home but it was so much better than staying at a hotel. I would stay again.

Nice little condo

It was perfect for our needs. We were traveling to mount pleasant to visit family. We needed overflow sleeping space and this little duplex was 10 mins from home. Could have walked to all the local bars if we wanted to.
