The Neighborhood:

The Old Village sits right on the Charleston harbor and is known for its beautiful historic homes, moss-draped live oak trees and small-town feel. Take a morning walk to see all the southern charm at it's finest!



Enjoy a coffee at Gala's Cage & Bakery, a glass of wine a Leeah's Wine Shop or a cozy dinner at Post House Inn, all a close 0.4 miles from the property. Head over to Shem Creek for some amazing seafood, views, and dolphin sightings galore.



You can't miss Pitt Street Bridge for a sunset stroll. It was once a trolley bridge that connected Sullivan's Island and Mount Pleasant and is a site for recreation and relaxation. One of the best views of the sunset over the Charleston Harbor!



Getting Around:

The Old Village is known for it's walking and biking accessibility, and there are so many great attractions close by. If you get your fill of walking, Uber and Lyft are readily available in the area to pick you up for a ride anywhere you need.



Historic Downtown Charleston is about a 5-10 car ride over the beautiful Arthur Ravenel Bridge, and is home to amazing shops and restaurants.



If you prefer a beach day, Sullivan's Island is a 7 minute car ride or 25 minute bike ride away. Grab some frose from the Co-Op or some BBQ from Home Team and experience the laid-back beach vibe of the beautiful 2.5 mile long barrier island.

Excellent location in walking distance to historic district and restaurants on Shem Creek. Short drive to Charleston. Comfy beds. Great shower. Well stocked kitchen, on-site parking (a little tight for SUV) very convenient. Very responsive host during surprise freezing weather. Stairs might intimidate families with small kids or grandparents, but perfect for us.

Everything about our stay in Mt Pleasant was absolutely fantastic! The house was clean and the kitchen held every amenity we could’ve needed during our stay. The space was clean and felt like home, and the location relative to downtown, the beach, and local spots was ideal. Our family travels to the Charleston area every year, and i believe we’ve found our new home away from home!

As a couple who have traveled often, we appreciate the highly comfortable bed and couch after a day of touring the city. The house was clean and felt welcoming.I would recommend staying here for anyone who wants to see Charleston as well as the surrounding beaches.

We stayed at the location for two nights and it was a perfect set up for my wife and I and our two kids (ages 8 and 6). The old village area is a really unique part of Mt Pleasant and it is a perfect location between the beaches and Charleston Penninsula.

Couple of days in Charleston

My husband booked this home for my BFF and I to have a girls getaway, he could not have done better!!!Location was awesome, we walked to ALOT of eateries and shops as they were close. The property was impeccable and very comfortable and well appointed.Walking around we felt very safe.Great follow-up from owner before, during and after making sure we had everything we needed.Thank you for a great few days!

One of the cleanest & most organized vacation rentals that I have ever experienced. Nicely decorated & well equipped. I enjoyed walking in the lovely neighborhood along Pitt Street and to the Post House Inn restaurant. The parking is tight but I managed with my SUV. Be aware that there are stairs from parking & also to the bedrooms. I would definitely book again!

Great home base to explore Charleston

Clean, bright home base which had everything we needed for a week trip. This house was just as expected from the photos. Enjoyed the neighborhood vibe and options. First time visiting the area we enjoyed the location which had many things close but also made driving anywhere in the are pretty easy.

Property was perfect for our needs. Great location and full of amenities. There are two flights of stairs (one set ti get up to the main floor and then a second set to get to the bedrooms). Wasn't an issue for our group, but might make a difference for some. There was a stackable washer dryer, but I don't think it was listed in the amenties (nice bonus). Would stay here again without reservation. Communication with host was great, too! Thanks!

Property was great. Just as described. Really clean. Very well decorated. Close to Shem Creek. We loved it. Parking is a little tight but we were fine, even with a big SUV. definitely recommend.

The Townhouse was immaculate and very much as advertised. Very well furnished to include the bikes, umbrellas for rain, lots of dishes and cookware, shampoos and conditioner for the showers, etc. 2 block walk to the Post House (convenient for a wedding we attended) and half a mile walk to Shems Creek. But immediate neighborhood was quiet. Parking for one vehicle on site and additional street parking was close by. Remember the living area is one flight up and bedrooms a second flight, in case stairs would be an issue for some...
