Rental is for Grand Morro, a 2 bedroom condo suite with Morro Bay rock and bay views. (Condo suites 1 & 5)

These modern and luxurious suites are the closest vacation rentals to Morro Rock, harbor walks, bicycling path, and coveted surfing & kayaking areas. Salty Sister was architecturally designed for private yet communal connections with dining and sleeping. An ideal layout for families traveling together can social distance.

Sit back and watch the fishing boats depart early morning and return with their daily catch. Located on Front Street, next to the Maritime Museum, Salty Sister is ideally situated. It is close to the Embarcadero, surf and recreational areas. Easy walk to shops and several dining options. Or, take a more brisk walk around Morro Bay Rock or on the beach. Paddle board, kayak in the bay or join-up with surfers at several nearby favorite surf locations.

This listing is for two condo/suites, each with a private entrance, that open to one another creating a stunning 1800+ sf living space. The second master suite and game room is a partial basement unit and does not have Morro Rock views.This vacation rental includes:

Relaxing Getaway

Our units surpassed our expectations. The communal space was comfortable and the dining table was huge. The kitchen was state of the art. The beds were very comfortable. It was also close to everything. We highly recommend Salty Sister if you are traveling with others and want a communal place to hang out and relax.

Lovely Stay in Morro Bay

This property has a somewhat unusual layout since it is actually two separate condo units that are connected (one of which is in the basement). However, it was very spacious and had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay--allowing a lot of privacy when desired. The location is right on the waterfront, with a great view of Morro Rock and easy walking distance to restaurants and the beach. The owners were very responsive when two different problems came up, none of which were their fault. I would definitely stay here again.

Great for family trips

This is a beautiful property and perfect location. Walking distance to coffee and meals and a grocery store nearby for eating in. We enjoyed a hike around Morro rock and a harbor tour with Chablis boat tours.

Each of the 6 rooms was in outstanding condition and all of them are smartly outfitted. The location can't be beat with great access to all of the Morro seaside commercial area yet outside noise was never a problem. The biking in the area for all ages was excellent too! We all enjoyed our stay to the extreme.

A wonderful breakfast, bakery and bike rentals just a few steps away. The only problem we had was that the air conditioning unit in the living area stopped working half way through our stay. The unit would not respond to the remote controller and was making a non stop loud noise. We referenced the provided guide to trouble shoot the problem with no luck. Even changed the batteries in the remote. Left messages for the property management and we never received a response. We had to shut all the inside doors in order to sleep due to the non stop noise. So the only downside is the lack of response from the property management company. Besides this the rental is perfect, had everything we needed and the check in & check out process was great.
