The lodge can sleep four people in two bedrooms, one king-size double and one adult bunks room, both sharing a light and airy shower room. The open plan living area has a well-equipped kitchen, dining area and a cosy sitting area. Outside, there is off road parking for two cars and a lawned garden with a decked veranda and furniture. Note: One well-behaved pet welcome at ÂŁ25 per pet per stay. House keeping bond of ÂŁ150.00
The Neighborhood:
Cresswell is a Northumberland village on the North Sea coast, popular with bird watchers with Cresswell Pond being nearby and the Druridge Bay Country Park less than 3 miles away. The village has an ice cream shop but this does close out of season. The nearby town of Ashington, once known as the largest mining village in the world and offers a good range of shops and has a market day on Tuesday. It also boasts two country parks, Wansbeck Riverside Country Park and the Queen Elizabeth II Country Park at Woodhornn.
