Mountain Jam

Mountain Jam offers panoramic views of both the Blue Ridge and South Mountains, yet only 10 minutes from I-40. Sunrises and sunsets can be appreciated from this lovely new home. The great room with open loft is perfect for anything from yoga to picking and grinning! Located conveniently between Charlotte and Asheville, we are the perfect spot for day tripping or any event near Morganton! We can sleep 6 adults comfortably. . Views, decks, cozy fires, & hot tub await! Pet allowed w/ fee. Ask host.

Mountain Jam has wonderful long range views of the surrounding South Mountains and more! Only 5 minutes from I-40 and Morganton proper. We are the perfect spot to relax and unwind from a busy day exploring nearby attractions. Our area is great for hiking, biking, rock climbing, swimming, boating, river kayaking, fishing, and more. Small events or gatherings are not automatically permitted but may be approved on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the owner and property manager. *Dogs allowed with fee, ONE PET MAX. Ask host. We do ask that you clean up after your pet.
Please do not let the pet on the beds and furniture. If you need this for service reasons, please bring pet appropriate throws with you.

Our Layout:

Main level: Large open kitchen/dining/living room with beautiful views and wood burning fireplace. Split bedroom design with Master and ensuite on one end and another bedroom and bath on the other.

Upper level: Open loft area to relax, large floor space for yoga, meditation, great light for an art project or strumming a guitar. There are two rooms on either side of the loft. One is a game room, the other is an additional bedroom space.

Basement: Not available for guest use, unfinished and locked.

We have a large rear deck that covers the entire main level, with entry points from the living room, and both bedrooms. Enjoy the newly installed hot tub and relax your cares, or sit by a cozy fire.

Our home has 3 bedrooms with beds to sleep 6 comfortably. There is plenty of space to enjoy a meal, a gas grill on the rear deck, linens, and towels, as well as cookware and dinnerware for 6 guests.

Our property manager grew up in Morganton! We are happy to answer any questions that you may have about our area.

Guests are welcome to use the main floor and upper loft, but the basement is unfinished and locked off.

They are also welcome to explore the immediate area outside.

Alyssa is the property manager and can be reached between 9am and 8pm.

This home is located up a gravel road. Most of the way is paved but the last turn will require the guest to travel a gravel road (Petche Gap Rd). GPS will not bring you to the house.
Off I-40, go south on Hwy 18, turn left on Zero Mull Rd, left on Laurel Heights Dr. stay straight up the hill near the end, turn right on Petche Gap Rd (gravel).
Bear right on Petche when you see the concrete building, keep going past the next home and you will come to a concrete driveway. This is the driveway to your destination.
Pet Rules

1. 1 Dog only and should be house-trained.
2. Guests will need to clean up after dogs outdoors in areas of general use and on/along walkways path and yard. Place doggy bags inside trash bag before discarding - no loose doggy bags in trash cans please.
3. Dogs should be crated if inside the house alone or if guests leave them at the property.
4. Guests should use pet covers to protect furniture/beds in the house.
5. Any damages from pets will be deducted from the security deposit, which is separate from the nonrefundable pet fee.

The booking party MUST be present during the entire stay.

No smoking.

No parties, large gatherings, or events.

No loud disturbances, and no fireworks.

Guest should only park on paved areas.

Do not disconnect the internet at any point during the stay.

Exterior monitoring device on property (ring camera by front door).

Complete records are required of each stay so please forward any requested information for the responsible booking party.
