This coastal cottage located in beautiful Cape Carteret sits in a quaint waterfront neighborhood just a short distance to Emerald Isle beaches, local dining and entertainment. Bring your boat, jet skis, bikes or golf cart—there’s plenty of room in the driveway!

This two bedroom, one and a half* bathroom house has been renovated over the past few years with major upgrades to the kitchen in 2020. There is a large porch and yard for entertaining, and a large driveway to accommodate multiple vehicles as well as trailers, boats and jet skis!

The kitchen is fully stocked with quality stainless and nonstick cookware, spices and all the basics. When you’re done cooking, enjoy the ease of using the dishwasher! A front load washer and dryer are available for use as well. Detergent and dryer sheets are included!

The master bedroom offers a queen bed, new in 2021, and plenty of closet space. The loft-style bedroom upstairs has two memory foam full beds, new in 2021. There are both gel and gusseted pillows available, so pick whichever you prefer!

The full bath downstairs has a tile shower with a divine rain shower head. A quality soap and shampoo will be provided.

*The ceiling in the half bath upstairs follows the pitch of the roof and therefore the headroom is limited. It’s perfect for kids, but an adult male may find it a little bothersome.

This coastal cottage is in Bayshore Park, Cape Carteret, which is a waterfront neighborhood with beautiful views of Bogue Sound, the ICW and Emerald Isle! The neighborhood has four waterfront parks for water access (kayak launch, fishing etc.) including a small pier that can be used for crabbing or fishing! All four parks are a very short walk from the house.

Swansboro and Emerald Isle are both less than 10 minutes away, and Morehead City is only 20 minutes up highway 24. There are several boat ramps, water accesses and nature tails close by.

Cape Carteret, Swansboro and Emerald Isle each have a large selection of renowned restaurants of all price points, and I would be glad to offer recommendations based on your specific taste.

Golfin’ Dolphin and Mac Daddy’s offer mini golf, bowling, go-carts, a driving range, arcade games and even a high ropes course right here in town!

Bring your boat! The house is located just a short distance from several boat ramps including Broad Creek, Cedar Point, Emerald Isle and Shell rock Landing...it just depends on where you’re wanting to fish! (I am a professional mariner by trade, so I’d be glad to give you any pointers about getting around on the water and maybe even a few fishing tips!)




***Hurricane Season disclaimer: In the event a named storm is forecasted to impact the area, and a mandatory evacuation is issued by the local or state government, you will be required to leave the house. Hurricane shutters will be put up, and the house will not be accessible until after the storm passes. Of course, a refund of the days you left early will be gladly issued.***
