Hidden Gem on the Tracks

Lake ConRoy’s Hidden Gem on the Tracks gives you a feeling you're miles away from the hustle, yet it's less than 5 minutes from Historic Downtown Montgomery and about 10 minutes away from Lake Conroe. Sitting sweetly on a wooded lot and right off railroad tracks, this 3 bedroom/2 bath has all the indoor/outdoor space needed for any type of family fun or romantic retreat! The short trains passing by periodically add a nice, nostalgic feel to the property too. And we've ADDED A FENCED IN AREA around the front of the home for your pets to roam freely, while you're relaxing.

In addition to the home, guests may also inquire about utilizing an adult game room nearby on-site. An additional fee 'may' apply, so be sure to ask about it's availability and check it out. It has a pool table and shuffle board table along with a kitchenette, bathroom, sitting area, and two huge TVs. It can make for a great hang out to compliment your stay with us.

This Hidden Gem is located on a property along with two other rental units, so if you're planning a family gathering or looking to hang out somewhere for a stay with friends, message the host, Roy, to inquire about availability of adjacent properties or check our accommodation availability feature on our website. The entire property (3 units, including this Hidden Gem) will comfortably sleep up to 20 guests, and one of the other properties, Train Depot, has a swimming pool!

We do allow social gatherings, but WE DO REQUIRE NOTIFICATION and details prior to check-in and the Host's final approval.

** PETS ALLOWED_$50 Per Pet FEE applies upon check-in unless you process payment at time of booking. ** We ask that pets are kenneled, when left unattended in our homes. And if they snuggle with you on furniture, we ask that blankets or pads are placed beneath them.

The host was very accommodating. The house, very comfortable and extremely clean. Master bed was amazing. The house was close to everything we wanted to do. Very quite neighborhood. Every once in awhile you'd hear a low sounding toot from the train. We will definitely be coming back.

Just Like Home!

We had a great time in Montgomery! The property manager and owner were super available and helpful, even calling a couple times just to check in which was so nice! The house was clean and quiet with the exception of the occasional train but it honestly was no big deal at all to us. We will definitely be staying again in the future!

Christmas Family Visit

This is our second time staying at a Lake Conroy Short Term Rentals property. Train Depot was perfect for our family! We came in town to visit family for Christmas. Train Depot is very secluded yet close to great restaurants & grocery stores. Would definitely stay here again. Very clean and had everything we needed. Thanks Roy & Matt!

Property was in a great location for us. Very Quiet, Owners were great people and invited us for a bbq at their house. unfortunately due to the storm we couldnt stay the whole trip. I will definately do that again.

We had a rough start to this stay. The air conditioning had just gone out in the property we rented, but the staff was incredible. They gave us an upgraded place immediately and even help you move our stuff. The kitchen was well stocked and there were so many activities that you could do on the property. They turned what could have been a nightmare, into a very pleasant experience. I would heartily endorse the Lake Conroy organization.

Secluded, comfortable, perfect

The “on the tracks” part of the description is not a problem. Yes, it’s very near the tracks and I could hear it a couple of times but it is not disturbing, shaking, or loud. Tons of extras like the corner garden tub and the comfortable, adjustable king sized mattress/bed, excellent fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living area containing a sectional that just beckons you to turn on a movie or ballgame and take a nap. Pet friendly and accommodating with a nicely secured fence. Thanks Scott for coming to my rescue when I locked myself out and had trouble figuring out the super fancy, Fort Knox level safety lock system. Though a family emergency prevented everyone else to stay at home I enjoyed my two day stay to see my grandson get married and would highly recommend to others.

The house we stayed in was very clean,had all the conveniences of home and the property manager was very nice. He even called a couple of times to check to see if we needed any thing. I would highly recommend this property or any of the properties he owns.
