The cottage features a comfortable queen bedroom, full bath, inviting living area, and fully stocked kitchen — creating the perfect space for couples, solo travelers, or anyone simply needing time to unwind and recharge.

Start your mornings with coffee on the porch while listening to birds sing across the peaceful countryside. Spend your afternoons exploring the property, feeding the fish at the spring-fed pond, or watching turtles sunning nearby.

Back at the cottage, relax with classic games, curl up with a favorite book, or enjoy a quiet evening outdoors. Fire up the Blackstone grill for dinner, then gather around the private fire pit for s’mores, conversation, and peaceful nights beneath the Texas sky.

As the sun sets and the string lights begin to glow, Blue Pond becomes the kind of place that helps you truly exhale. Whether you`re celebrating something special or simply taking a break from everyday life, this countryside retreat offers the perfect setting to unplug, reconnect, and slow down.

Guests have full private access to the cottage, covered porch, deck with Blackstone grill, outdoor seating areas, and private fire pit. Guests are also welcome to enjoy the shared outdoor spaces throughout the property, including the pond and surrounding park-like grounds.

Blue Pond Retreat offers a simple and stress-free self check-in experience, allowing guests the flexibility to arrive at their convenience. We are always available should you need assistance before or during your stay.

Nearby attractions include Historic Downtown Montgomery, Lake Conroe, local wineries, hiking trails, boat rentals, wedding venues, Texas BBQ, the Renaissance Festival, Margaritaville Resort, and shopping and dining in The Woodlands.

Please note that Blue Pond Retreat is a boutique retreat property with additional guest accommodations located elsewhere on the acreage, including our luxury covered wagons. While the cottage offers its own private spaces, guests may occasionally see other visitors enjoying the property as well.

Our goal is to create a peaceful, relaxing experience for every guest on the property. We’ve intentionally kept our checkout process simple so you can truly enjoy your stay without feeling like you’re completing a list of chores before departure.

We simply ask that all guests respect the property, the atmosphere, and others enjoying the retreat during their stay.

QUIET HOURS
Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

Blue Pond is designed to be a calm and restful getaway experience. Please be respectful of neighboring guests and keep noise levels appropriate, especially in outdoor areas during the evening hours.

REGISTERED GUESTS ONLY
For the privacy and safety of all guests, only registered guests are permitted on the property unless approved in advance by the host.

PARTIES & EVENTS
Unauthorized parties, gatherings, or events are not permitted.

Any activity that disrupts guests, neighbors, or the peaceful environment of the property may result in immediate termination of the reservation without refund.

SMOKING
Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the cottage or wagons.

Additional cleaning fees will apply for smoke odor caused inside the units.

If smoking outdoors, please dispose of cigarette butts properly and respectfully.

PROPERTY CARE
We’ve intentionally created Blue Pond to feel peaceful, relaxing, and special. We simply ask guests to help us care for the property during their stay.

Please:

* Leave the property in reasonably respectful condition
* Avoid rearranging furniture
* Remove muddy shoes before entering if needed
* Report any accidental damage promptly so we can address it quickly

MINISPLIT SYSTEMS
Please leave the minisplit systems on when leaving the property so continuous climate control can be maintained.

PARKING
Please park only in designated parking areas near your unit and keep driveways clear for property access and maintenance needs.

ILLEGAL ACTIVITY
Illegal drugs or unlawful activity of any kind are strictly prohibited on the property and will result in immediate removal from the premises.
