Not what we expected
The size of the space was good. However, it seemed to have a stupid apartment attached to the house. While sitting in the living room we could hear the tv from whoever was there. Getting in was easy except that the pin pad was loose on the door. We struggled at first to get in and went to the lock box for a key but there was nothing in it. The bathroom fan didnât work very well and there was what look like black mold growing in the bathroom tile. The washer and dryer was outside in a closet on the front porch. We ended up not using it. On our last morning we had the curtain open in the front bedroom and saw something on the wall where the head of the bed was. I donât even know what it was but it looked like something dripped down the wall. On the bathroom ceiling was dead bugs of some sort and they were on the filters on the exhaust fan. I ended up scrubbing that the best I could. I also scrubbed down the bathroom wall by the toilet because it just looked dirty. The toilet was super close the wall. My husband who is a plumber said he didnât think it was up to code. The beds were horrible. They had some sort of cheap metal frame that squeaked with every turn. The mattress was similar to a futon mattress. We only used the one room but the second bedroom had a similar mattress. The only other positive was the quiet neighborhood. Weâve used Vrbo plenty of time and unfortunately this was the worst one.
