A Piece of Heaven is a lovely 3BR/3BA home located within the gated Cottage Retreat community only 525 feet from private beach access on Miramar Beach. From the minute you enter through the front door, you will be greeted by a spacious open floor plan boasting walls of windows that offer an abundance of natural light. The first floor consists of a cozy living room, a large dining area, and a gorgeous kitchen featuring granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Also on the first floor, there is a guest bedroom with a king bed and ensuite bathroom. Up the stairs to the second level, you will find the master suite, highlighted by balcony access, and a fabulous master bathroom complete with a jetted, soaking tub and separate shower. There is an additional guest bedroom this level with a queen bed and a twin over full bunk bed. This room also has an ensuite bath! Cottage Retreat is a gated community within the beautiful Miramar Beach area. The neighborhood has gated beach access just across Scenic Hwy 98. Amenities include a seasonally heated community pool, hot tub, fitness center, and grilling area! Cottage Retreat shares amenities with Beach Retreat condos nearby. This idyllic location is a short distance from several beach front restaurants and only a few miles from Destin Commons and Silver Sands! Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants.

All the excitement of Destin is just minutes away: choice of watersports, golf, amusement parks, and outlet shopping.  One glimpse of Destin beaches and you're hooked. It must be the wide, white beaches and the famous emerald waters. Not to mention the fabulous fishing, the world's most beautiful beaches, addictive seafood and the full array of activities for kids of all ages and more fun to be found in Destin.

If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017.  Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!
