Enjoy Gulfview 316 in beautiful Destin. This 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit is located on the 3rd floor and offers a view of the Gulf of Mexico coastline. This unit has a queen and a sofa bed and sleeps 4. With 2 TVs, 1 DVD player, and CD stereo system, you will enjoy all the comforts of home. This unit features many recent upgrades, including new flooring, microwave, flat-screen TV and bedding. It is a very nice unit with a great view. Note: Gulfview does not have elevators.

***Please be advised that the pool will undergo necessary plastering maintenance beginning April 1, 2025. The estimated duration of this work is four weeks, with an anticipated pool reopening date of approximately May 1, 2025.***

The place

We got there 15 minutes early you wouldn’t let us in. When we got in it stunk. Was not clean. I went out n brought cleaner to clean it. The couch n chair is the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever sat in. Cabinet doors need fixing. Stove. Not impressed

Nice place

We did have some issues with cleanliness. They did not have pillows or blankets for the pull out couch. The water pressure was very low. Over all this is a great place to stay. It is very quiet, super close to the beach, perfect for a small family. Very beautiful.

Great location!

This property was great for myself and two grandkids. The beach was right across the street so it was easy to go back and forth for lunch and bathroom breaks. The condo was well equipped with what we needed to prepare meals. There were a few things that were needing an upgrade like replacement of the bathroom exhaust fan, a loose outlet, and a deep clean of shelves.

Summer getaway

This was a great location. So many restaurants around that made it easy if we wanted to go out. The beach was just steps away which made it simple to come and go as you please. The only downfall that we would have is the beds. We even tried the pull out couch to see if it was any better but both are so stiff. If you enjoy the beach long enough and wear yourself out or drink enough, then that won’t even matter. We would come again!!!

Location was amazing!! Right across the road from the beach gate. View of the ocean from patio was awesome. A few restaurants that were walking distance which was very convenient! Room was decent, had a muggy smell when we first entered, but it was clean. The couch, bed and chairs outside were a bit uncomfortable, but it wasn’t miserable. Perfect room for a couple, we stayed for our anniversary. We were on 3rd floor, and there is no elevators in this unit. It wasn’t too bad, but for someone with a lot of luggage may have some trouble. It was great for us, and we will be back!

Less than impressed

I let a couple things like not being able to access the room until after 4:00 slide even though I had to rush to a wedding. Got stuck and couldn’t get back in from beach with code. The shower curtain though. It had pink and black mold. If you think that’s what I expect to find with the amount of fees that come with these rentals you are wrong!! I took it down immediately. Would you want your daughter and granddaughter bathing in that? Would you shower with that present?? NO!! Very disappointed. They did come into the room and change it. Still. You can’t unsee that.

Spring Break 2023

Overall our stay was good. There were pros and cons that are all personal opinions. Pros: location- the condo was directly across from the private beach access. There were a couple of restaurants within walking distance and several that were less than a ten minute drive. Check in/check out- this was a breeze. We were sent all lock codes that we would need the day before. Housekeeping- once we checked in we received a text asking how our room was. They replied the next day to any concerns we had. Cons: the place could use some updating. Fresh paint, new doorknobs (rusted out), and a new sofa. The couch was stained up so badly that we put a clean sheet over it before we would sit on it. Although the condo was clean it could use a deep clean. You could see dust on the walls and ceiling. We also couldn’t use the outlets in the bathroom, they didn’t work. Overall our stay was fine and anything we saw were things that could wait to be fixed until we left.

Great place but needs a few updates

The location is great but the place needs a few minor updates. The vent in the bathroom needs to be cleaned. The holder in the shower needs to be replaced. The shower bar should be replace it has rust also. The toaster should be replaced. It took me 10 minutes as I have to flip the waffle. It only toast one side. Both the refrigerator and freezer don't work. I had to throw out my food. Fruit, fresh salsa, guacamole, ice cream. It was frustration. The dead bolt gets stuck. I had a hard time getting out. It should be changed.

Nice accommodations!

Overall, I was very pleased with this property. Booking, check in and check out was easy. The tub drained VERY slowly, and there was a broken closet door, but nothing that was too disappointing.

Fantastic location, needs reliable appliances

The location was perfect. Steps to the pool, steps to the beach. The accommodations were right for our family of 4 (2 young daughters shared the pull out couch comfortably). The bad part, the refrigerator stopped working and by the time they were able to come up with a solution, we had a third of our groceries spoil. Also the toaster only toasted on the outsides so we had to toast everything twice. Overall, it was a good stay but there are definitely a few things that made it hectic.

Very dirty, building run down, terrible mattresses, dirty towel left in bathroom. Carpet is disgusting. Furniture stained and needs updating. Patio chairs dirty and broken. Only thing good is the location.

Great location, but condo could have been better

The location is great. Right across the street from the beach, walking distance to lots of places. The condo itself is older, but well equipped. It wasn’t the cleanest, like used soap from previous guest still in the shower, and dishes needed to be cleaned before we used them. Weird things like fan in the bedroom doesn’t work unless you leave the light on, and they have a DVD player that isn’t connected and didn’t work. Biggest complaint was lack of communication from management company, they never sent us the gate code for the beach access, thankfully another guest shared it with us, and no information about the amenities on the property.

Very Cute Place in a perfect location!

Was NOT was clean as I thought I was getting, and the $70 cleaning fee I think is nowhere near what we got! However, the view and location was great for being across the street, and the gate access directly across the street is great too!

Not worth it!

Property was dirty when we arrived (at 12:30am and I was stuck bleaching the bathroom until 1am). Went out first thing in the morning to buy cleaning supplies to clean the whole place. Vacuumed and mopped (with a mop I purchased bc the one in the unit was flithy). Cleaned the bathrooms, washed the sheets myself and covered the couch with an extra sheet that I requested. I brought our own bath towels, thank goodness bc one of the ones left for us had stains all over it. I would have tried to move from this condo but we traveled with a baby and it would have been a huge hassle to load and unload again. I was able to clean it enough to make it manageable for the short time we were there- and particularly made sure we didn’t spend much time inside the unit while on our trip. The manager was super helpful and nice and reimbursed us our cleaning fee, but still would not recommend staying here at all. The location is what brought us to this unit but I would have preferred to have to drive and park at the beach to feel comfortable with where I was laying my head. I was ready to get out of there the minute we arrived and honestly wish I would have just tried to move us rather than muscling through staying there. Do not waste your money.
