Edgewater 1200 propose deux chambres, deux salles de bain et certaines des meilleures vues de Destin. Les propriĂ©taires ont fait un travail incroyable de l'ameublement et la dĂ©coration de cet appartement, pour ne pas mentionner les mises Ă  jour dans la cuisine et salle de bain. Ce condo comprend de la peinture fraĂźche, une nouvelle gamme, du carrelage au sol et de nouvelles portes-fenïżœïżœtres Ă©tonnantes menant au balcon depuis la chambre principale et le salon. DĂ©tendez-vous sur la terrasse spacieuse et profitez des vues panoramiques les plus Ă©tonnantes sur l'eau.


La chambre principale offre un lit king size et une salle de bain attenante. La chambre d'amis dispose de deux lits doubles et d'une baignoire adjacente. Dans le salon, vous trouverez un canapé-lit queen-size, de sorte que ce charmant condo peut facilement accueillir jusqu'à huit personnes. Avec des télévisions à écran plat dans chaque chambre, des tables au comptoir et à la table et tous les équipements de cuisine nécessaires, vous pourrez profiter du confort de votre maison dans le luxe de votre retraite sur la plage.


En prime, ce condo comprend un service de plage saisonnier gratuit comprenant 2 chaises et 1 parasol sur la plage tous les jours pour votre usage. The property was located on a private beach, so we did not have tents and loud music to obstruct the view of the sound of the waves. It was so relaxing. Great location to shopping and we could walk down the beach to the Surf Hut for a seafood dinner.

Perfect location on the beach.

We stayed on the 12th floor and our condo was wonderful. It was clean and updated. It has everything we needed in the kitchen and a washer and dryer to make things easier on everyone. They are in the process of updating the entire property, one elevator is being rebuilt and the will rebuild the other one when that one is done. Even being down an elevator, we seldom had a long wait. The pool area is wonderful, but it could use some more chairs around the pool. The beach is so close. We have a large vehicle so we needed to park outside the garage. There are a lot of spaces, but it gets full fast because some cars and smaller vehicles that could park in the garage park in these spots. There is a large grocery store and many shops and restaurants within walking distance or a short drive. The location of the condo and the condo itself are amazing.

We absolutely love Edgewater, I’ve stayed in various units since 2008. We loved the location, right next to the elevators which was really nice with our little one. You couldn’t hear anything from inside the unit at all! They provided everything we needed for our short trip, I knew to bring our own spices for when we cooked. The only complaint I have is that the ice maker inside the freezer does not work, it appears they’re switching it out maybe because there was 2 full size fridges in our unit so we used the one that was more so in the living room than in the kitchen. But with me breastfeeding we had to have ice for the bottles we needed to take to the beach so we just went and bought a bag of ice. Hindsight, no big deal but it was an inconvenience. Overall we would stay again, great condo!

Great Trip!

I took my daughter and some friends for a much needed girls trip. The rooms were just as pictured on the listing. Everything was clean and comfortable. The only thing we disliked was the ice-maker took forever to make ice. Minor issue. The rest of the stay was perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

Baby's First Beach Vacay

The condo was perfect for our family of 5. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking necessities. So this made cooking family meals in the condo so easy. Make sure you bring salt, pepper, sugar, and any other spices you cook with. The pools and the baby pool was perfect for the baby. We were so thankful for the 2 complimentary beach chairs. This greatly lightened our load of stuff to carry to the beach. And, most importantly, the view from the room was amazing.

What I expected

We enjoy staying at Edgewater. Although every unit has different decor, the unit layout is typically the same. Everything about 1200 was good. Clean and comfortable. Some earlier reviews mentioned dishwasher problems. The dishwasher now appears to be new. Being close to the elevator is definitely a plus and there’s no noise from the elevator in the unit at all. Even riding the elevator seems very quiet. Again, Edgewater is a great place as it is very secure and private while being located near many things. We will be staying here anytime we travel to the Destin area and would definitely consider staying in 1200 again. BTW, although fire alarms have been a problem in the past, the alarms did not go off, at all, for the week we were there, thankfully.

We so enjoyed our first trip to Florida and staying at the Majestic sun! The unit was clean and we had a most everything we needed. Whatever we didn’t have, we could just take a quick drive to the market. It was close to everything including the gorgeous beach it was on. I would recommend staying here.

Edgewater Amazing, but do NOT use Vacation Palms

This unit has a wonderful view and huge balcony. This is an end unit which is so close to the elevator. I was afraid of noise, but it was quiet and had no noise disturbance at all! Being close to the elevator was perfect! This unit is decorated well and comfortable. Plenty of room for my family of 5! Location is perfect and in walking distance to places to eat and tons of shopping. The dishwasher door really needs to be replaced. It slams open and falls to the floor when opened. My only complaint is regarding the agency that rents this unit. I called 2 days before leaving to make sure the pool was heated. They assured me it was heated and ready to go. They even put me on hold to call the Edgewater resort themself. Once we got down to the resort (an 11 hour drive for us) the heated pool was half empty (not working at all) and of course the other pool was too cold to swim in during November. I talked to the front desk and they said they have been waiting on a broken part since the end of October so the pool hasn’t been able to be used since then. I emailed back and forth with Vacation Palms and they said this wasn’t their problem and they cannot keep up with what is going on at the property. My issue was the lying 2 days prior about the pool being heated and ready. I would’ve expected either a small discount or even a name of a neighboring property where they would allow us to take the kids to swim. We had no pool use our entire visit. and the agency could’ve cared less. As we were leaving, I talked to maintenance. They said parts and plugs had to be replaced which would take a few days. They said Edgewater was compensating their guests in some way but of course I had to tell them I was renting from an outside agency. Pretty disappointed. I’ve stayed at Edgewater many times! Just stay away from renting from Vacation Palms.

The place was very clean but very plain. Looked like a hotel room compared to other family member also renting in same building. Their room had a very inviting and welcome home feeling. The room was about as far back as you could go. Had I known that I would have chosen differently. For a place to rest our heads at night, it worked.

Beautiful View

Overall a great condo! Nice size for a family of 4. Everything as advertised and pictured except I believe the couches are new. Certainly not an issue! Kitchen is well stocked. No less than 4 hairdryers when we were there and a little closet with some beach items that probably come and go - floats, balls, chairs. No hangers which was odd. This unit comes with beach service during the season and that is huge! You cannot bring your own umbrella or canopy. Plus it's nice to have someone else handle it. One negative is that we found the master bedroom a bit warm at night. Not unbearable, but take note if that will bother you. There is a quiet ceiling fan that helps.

Fore alarm went off multiple times at 1-3 am was told someone was cooking then was told it’s a faulty system disregard alarm contacted someone was only told it’s a hoa problem someone is gonna get really hurt cause when you cry Wolfe to many times and people don’t react when there is a true alarm told them that also never got a gate code had to drive around building every time get out sign in get back in go back around building made them aware of that also to be told owner apologizes what a joke I would never rent through this place again horrible customer service be prepared to be interrupted your whole trip with a fire alarm take my advice don’t rent from here

Dirty Condo

We have stayed at Edgewater condos before and this is why we’re chose here again. Upon arrival we noticed a run down and condo. The unit was hot the whole time and the master bedroom ceiling fan was loud when in use. Unit 1200 is by the elevator and you can here the elevator at all hours.

Nice condo and location

Overall I would recommended this property. Good location with grocery stores, restaurants and shopping nearby. Friendly, helpful staff. Complimentary beach chairs and umbrella were a nice perk. The cable and internet service are the only things needing improvement.
