The condo photo was is deceiving. The tables and chairs are missing paint. The couch sinks very deep because it's cheap and old. Very Uncomfortable. The remote control instructions are totally bogus. A 30" TV speaks to the owner's lack of commitment to guests. Formica countertops are total 1980s. We won't be back uncomfortable

Great building for multi-family

We visited Destin with two other families (all staying in Majestic Sun). Had a great week. The location is our favorite in the area. The walk across the street is convenient. It’s a little frustrating if you’re not renting beach chairs as the rental companies take ALL the waterfront real estate leaving the rest of us peasants a short section of beach to cram all of our umbrellas and chairs into. It can get crowded. But, a great family atmosphere, friends were made. Would definitely return.

Great spot with great views!

Really great clean place. King bed is comfortable and there are good kitchen utensils. View is wonderful and getting to the beach is so easy. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend!

Amazing View

First off, the view was nothing short or just amazing. I dont like heights but couldn't resist the balcony. The apartment itself was very clean and well kept. Didnt see a single bug inside the apartment. The only downside is that the walls are apparently thin, as we were kept up night after night by the neighbors kids who were hitting something against the wall for 2 hours every night. Aside from that, everything was great. Make sure to reserve beach chairs and umbrellas early as the good ones went quick. Would definitely return to this apartment, just hope they get the elevators fixed.

Miramar Vaction

The property was clean and comfortable. It was the perfect size for our family of 3 and the ocean view from the balcony was absolutely beautiful. Definitely recommend and will look forward to coming back again.

Very happy with location. Walk across street to gorgeous beach. Very safe area. Walkable restaurants. Only negative Very hard king bed. Couch was more comfortable. Excellent customer service. Our flight got canceled and we were able to talk to someone on Sunday and rented for another night. She was awesome I wish I would of remembered her name. Would recommend

Great Waterfront Retreat

We found the property totally fit our needs. It was clean, nicely located just across the beach road, beach-front, and well equipped. Convenient parking garage is definitely a plus! Small, but adequate for a small family.

Excellent location and stay

We chose this location with a group we were traveling with. The property was clean and the location was very convenient. We loved the gorgeous view from the balcony! The unit is small, but perfect for a family of four. Our only complaint would be that the king bed was too firm for us, but that is a matter of preference. An observation that has nothing to do with the unit itself but the beach in front: A rental company covers the beachfront area directly in front of the property with their rental chairs and umbrellas. They set up one or two rows and place everything close together. It is not always easy to get through to the water if you are set up behind them.

5 stars but,

I’ll start by saying I will stay here at this unit again. Everything upon arrival was ready, clean, fresh and beautiful. I will list concerns at the end. Communicating with owners/staff prior to coming was awesome with quick responses and answers to questions. Perfect view from the time we walked inside. Full frontal view of what was the most beautiful colors I’ve ever seen the Gulf. Perfect weather entire weeks stay. Low humidity good breeze low to mid 80’s. Plenty of pots and pans to cook if you want. Bed was very comfortable. Washer and dryer was a HUGE plus. Being on the 10th floor I was concerned with as the hike to beach, not a problem at all. Unit close to elevator and 2 minutes to walk across the street from elevator. Concerns: 1. The balcony door frame bottom has a higher than normal framing as to not let water in during big storms. Problem is with it not being visible marked it’s easy to trip over as your walking in or out. God forbid walking out and trip over balcony. 2. Bedroom window (looks out onto walkway not Gulf) I had to put up a very dark beach towel to block the “daylight” bright security lite outside. Very annoying hard to get to sleep without blocking window, wood blinds doesn’t get it. 3. Sofa bed not comfortable to sleep on but it’s a sofa bed. 4. We took advantage of the pool bands and the outside pool was very nice, hot tub/spa very hot which was nice. On the other hand the inside pool (trying to get away from outside kids playing) was extremely filthy. As soon as you walked in the shallow end you could see the material bugs floating pieces of whatever. We immediately went back to outside. Not sure why a beautiful facility would not monitor this more closely. 5. The balcony, if your expecting it to be quite while sipping adult beverages while breathing in the Gulf view, don’t. I really thought being 10 floors up would have been a plus in this regard., traffic noise really bad. Inside the condo it’s as quite as a mouse. But we adapted and enjoyed the view just the same. None of these concerns would stop me from reserving again but I do hope the owner takes note and can correct the bedroom window issue and the weather plating on the sliding glass door. 6. I’m all about free enterprise but I must say the Umbrella vendor and Majestic Sun must have a sweet deal. Almost the entire beachfront is rental space for vendor. Not good. Very limited shoreline space left in front of MS. P.S. parking garage was a plus.

Pleasant Stay with exception below

Everything was as represented on the online site. Our only complaint (which is actually a pretty big deal) was the master bed. The frame creaks with every movement. Tried padding with small pillow to no avail. The sheets were average quality, but felt hot and slipped around on the mattress. . Checked under the sheets and found a waterproof, silk topper mattress cover. We pulled it to one side , hoping to remedy the uncomfortable feel and found multiple dark yellow stains that are in the area that would make one suspect them to be old urine stains. That was very unacceptable to my daughter and I. It’s time for an upgrade on the mattress and frame. The window in the same room could also use a room darkening shade as the hall light is right beside the window and shine through the blinds ALL night long.
