While these stunning views are the main attraction, there is so much more to enjoy at White Horse Bungalow, from roasting marshmallows in the firepit, to a game of foosball in the gameroom or even saddle up to the bar on one of our custom saddle barstools!
White Horse Bungalow was designed to be a relaxing family retreat.

We had a great stay at this cabin. It was quiet, peaceful, and exactly what we were hoping for over Easter weekend. The property had everything we needed, including thoughtful extras like staple condiments and spices, which made things even easier.Communication with the property managers was excellent throughout our stay. One helpful note for future guests: since it’s on a newer street, it’s best to follow the provided directions or use Google Maps instead of Waze.The kids especially loved the foosball table and the whimsical stools, which added a fun touch to the space. We also really appreciated that pets were allowed, which was such a kind bonus. Our dog clearly loved the fresh mountain air and all the new smells. The hot tub was also a highlight and felt especially nice in the cool mountain air.Overall, it was a perfect Easter weekend getaway.

We had an absolutely 5-star experience at the White Horse Bungalow! From the start, the host’s communication was exceptional. They were responsive, helpful, and made everything seamless. The cabin itself was the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in, which immediately put us at ease.It was also incredibly well-stocked with everything you could possibly need, from seasonings and condiments to trash bags, laundry detergent, and even little extras like nail polish remover. You can tell a lot of thought went into making guests feel comfortable.The beds were cozy, the views were beautiful, and the outdoor fireplace on the porch was a huge highlight for our family. We spent so much time just relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.The location struck the perfect balance. It was quiet and serene without feeling too secluded or unsafe. After a disappointing cabin experience a couple of years ago, I was honestly hesitant to book through VRBO again, but this stay completely restored my faith. We would absolutely come back to this cabin!

Wild Horse bungalow was absolutely perfect for our stay! It comfortably accommodated our family of six adults plus my teenage grandson. The family room was spacious and inviting, and the game area was a huge hit for gathering and playing games together. The house was very easy to get to, and the kitchen was extremely well appointed, making cooking and meals a breeze. Faith was very easy to communicate with and answered questions promptly.We truly had everything we needed and would happily stay here again! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We had an amazing stay at the White Horse Bungalow! The property was absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. The cabin truly had everything we needed and then some. We use VRBO often, and it’s always a nice bonus when a place provides seasonings or even allow guest to leave seasonings and everyday essentials, which made our stay even more comfortable.We really enjoyed the property and felt right at home. One small (and funny) suggestion: definitely follow the directions in the welcome email. Typical “I can figure it out myself” moment on my part led to an extra 20 minutes of driving but that was completely on us and gave us a good laugh.Faith was an amazing host—very responsive, helpful, and even provided great recommendations for things to do in the area. The electronic welcome book was extremely helpful, especially the videos showing how to start the fireplace.Overall, this was a 10/10 experience. We highly recommend this property and will definitely be back!

Our weeklong stay at the cabin was great. The view was amazing as were the amenities at the cabin. It had everything we could’ve asked for. Close to town. Communication with the owner was timely and helpful. The only downside to the cabin is that it is located in a very small community near a few other cabins and you could hear the people in the other cabins and do not have complete privacy.

Very spacious

Really enjoyed our stay until the last night when my teenage son saw a mouse in the upstairs bedroom. He later realized the noises he had been hearing all week were from the mouse. Early the following morning, I woke up at 5am to the noises of the mouse in the master bedroom. Needless to say, we decided to just go ahead and pack up early. Otherwise, the property was great and we saw deer daily.

We have been staying in the blue ridge area every Memorial Day weekend for years with our friends. This was a great property and location was great for us. Close to play golf at old taccoa farm and an easy drive into blue ridge or downtown McCaysville. There were lots of great toys for the kids and they loved the porch. Views were amazing and we had an amazing time over all. Check in and out process was easy. Would recommend and would stay again!

Beauty and Peace

White Horse Bungalow was exactly what we were looking for in a mountain getaway! Faith, our host, was helpful, informative, gracious and so great to work with. So many ammenities! Protected, covered parking for one vehicle. There are TVs in every room (though I don’t know you’ll even turn them on with the views from the deck)!! The home is beautiful, bedrooms are roomy and the greatroom is so comfortable. Our dog loved exploring the property (on lead) - so many smells to investigate! We had visits from deer and turkey. The best part
.the only sound we heard morning and evening was the twittering of birds! Perfect peace! We will be back :) Sheri

Great Quiet Mountain View

Our family came up for a few days of spring break. The house was just as pictured. It had everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner every night. The hot tub was a great way to end the evening after hiking all day. We would definitely come back.

Beautiful House and GREAT Host

The home was so beautiful with a great view. We enjoyed being able to watch a football game outside by the fireplace because the nights were gorgeous. The jacuzzi was perfect. The host helped me get a cake and balloons for my husband's 50th birthday. She even had the cabin decorated, so he was really surprised when we arrived. That was possible because the host really was willing to go above and beyond. We will definitely be back!

Nice new build, great design work and appearance. Property manager communicates well.

We were wowed by the beauty upon entering the cabin. Very nice mountain home details. A couple of things could use improvement. A kitchen cabinet door was left hanging by one screw, we had to work around this. Finicky kitchen faucet, and lots of weeds need to be pulled in the landscaped areas. All minor things that seemed like punch out list stuff that was still needing to be taken care of. Neighbors are close by, too close at many times, as they were drunk and loud the entire time. Otherwise, it was clean, new and stocked with most of what is needed. Would recommend this property and stay again!
