Our stay was great! The room was spacious and clean. We had plenty of room!
We loved checking out the agency next to our hotel and loved the art deco and charm our hotel had. Would book again!
We went for the NCAA tournament, and ended up staying only 1 of our 3 nights which was a hit to the pocket book, but it just wasnât worth it.
The building was old, as most buildings in MKE are, so Iâm sure that didnât help our experience.
The check in process was good and the place was clean.
Our room was above the restaurant and it was so loud. It wasnât comfortable; and the parking situation was expensive and inconvenient.
Paid for parking worth it in winter especially but needed it for airport in the morning. Had good communication about expectations and directions. Only needed one call to front desk prompt. Nice smelling bathroom stuff easy use of air conditioning. No noise at night quiet comfortable room. Had mini fridge. Great tv.
We had oen night at Dubbel Dutch, after a wedding weekend in the suburbs. We were super happy with our stay. There is no traditional check-in/front desk, with everything done via access codes. It worked out just fine and the hosts/owners were super responsive via text whenever we had a question.
Our room was on the second floor and was very large, with a sitting room and separate bedroom. The bathroom was well appointed, with a good sized shower and nice water pressure. Despite hot outdoor temps, the room was nice and cool. The whole place was very clean. Also, we loved the location, with both downtown and the lakefront within easy walking distance.
We would highly recommend staying here.
Beautiful home built in the late 1800s. Lovely lounge areas, games, books, outdoor sitting areas. You truly feel at home. Comfortable rooms, great customer service. Highly recommend.
