Beautiful lake home on Lake Koshkonong

Welcome to the historic Bingham House! Enjoy everything beautiful Lake Koshkonong has to offer at this stylishly updated home. Amazing lake views throughout the inside and on the large patio. Situated on a calm canal with direct access to the lake. Launch kayaks, stand up paddle board, paddle boat or fish off of the dock. Expansive backyard with 150’ of canal shoreline. Chefs will enjoy preparing a meal in our beautifully remodeled kitchen, on our large gas grill or by the shore on our fire pit. Enjoy the huge hot tub in summer or winter.
The space
The Bingham House is located on a canal that leads directly into Lake Koshkonong. Enjoy lawn games in this expansive backyard with canal and lake access off the dock. A paddle boat, stand up paddle board and two kayaks are provided to guests. Enjoy an evening campfire down by the shoreline fire pit. Grill or just hangout and enjoy the lake views on the back patio. The interior boasts 3 upstairs bedrooms, 2 downstairs living spaces, full sized washer and dryer and a stocked kitchen. This historic home has been stylishly renovated and furnished with comfortable high end selections.
Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire home and will be the only people on the property (no shared spaces). Key code access will be provided.
Other things to note
Home sleeps 6 but has potential to sleep up to 8 with use of queen blow up mattress and small cot available upon request. A 4Moms Pack N Play with bassinet is also available. A kids play closet with books and toys is available in a bedroom closet. Board games, poker set, puzzles provided. Beach towels and detergent provided. Please note that there are often bugs at night. Bug spray is provided and we do have a bug zapper on the patio. The canal is a slow moving water body, that often has plant growth in the summer. It is great for kayaking and fishing but not swimming. The main lake has beaches on parts of the coast and access to the lake is a very short distance away.

Had a great time at this historic home. Stayed here with our family of 4 for a short weekend getaway and birthday celebration. We were able to check in early to decorate. Original home is older than Wisconsin, but updated with amenities like a hot tub, great WiFi, 2 sitting areas, gas fireplace, a garage/game room (lots of things for small and big kids), kayaks, etc. There is a nice fire pit near the canal overlooking the lake. Would love to come back when it is warmer and explore the lake. Beautiful views from both the front and back yards. There are neighbors, but not too close.This was a perfect short getaway and the host was accommodating, responsive, and respectful of our privacy.

Quiet, Recharge, and so much Fun!!!

This was the best property we have stayed at thus far. It had games, books for the kids, cards, kayaks, paddle board, peddle boat, and fishing! 
.the kids caught fish as well! We pulled in and immediately felt relaxed and noticed how quiet the location is. The road leading up to the property is wooded, and also a joy! Wonderful outdoor patio and fire pit by the water. Beautiful sunsets! The kitchen had everything we needed, with spices and other easy things to forget! It even had binoculars to look out over the water and we could see the boats on the lake. Kenny was such a great host and answered any questions we had. The dogs were comfortable and had plenty of yard to run and play plus quiet roads to take them on longer walks. We are excited to plan a trip next year with the family. Everyone was so impressed on how Kenny and his team keep his guests in mind with the little things like marshmallow pokers, bug spray, life jackets, and so much more. He really allows you to enjoy and not worry about the small stuff! We will be back!!

Perfect Labor Day Lake Weekend

Our family selected this wonderful home as our Labor Day vacation destination. We had three generations that stayed in the house. I would HIGHLY recommend this property for a variety of reasons. First off, Kenneth, the host, was an exceptional communicator. I had lots of questions (because I'm a type A vacation planner) and he answered all of them kindly and promptly. He also gave great recommendations for restaurants, beaches, and ice cream and they were all perfect. Now the house: the property itself is well located with a beautiful big yard with fantastic sunset views. The house is newly renovated and they did not miss a detail. Often with a "family friendly" house sometimes you feel like the house is more run down or that you're in a kid's zone, but this house is so sophisticated and well designed, I didn't feel like we sacrificed at all to be at a kid and pet friendly spot. Additionally, they had every amenity you could imagine to make a family happy- kayak, paddle board, paddle boat, dock, firepit, lawn games, a kids toy closet and a wide variety of kid/baby supplies like pack & play, high chair, etc. I was so impressed with the thoughtful details. It also had all the things adults need like a well equipped kitchen, grill, comfortable beds, nice TV's, board games, etc. Finally, we appreciated that this house was pet friendly and we were able to bring our furry family members with on vacation. I would highly recommend staying at this home! We will be back!

Perfect getaway

A truly gorgeous property with extremely kind hosts. Kenny is incredibly communicative and helpful. The house is stocked with anything you could need including bug spray and sunscreen, both of which we were happy to have available. Beds are comfortable, kitchen is beautiful, the 3 season porch is a perfect spot to drink your coffee in the morning. We hope to return again next year.

Awesome time - Highly Recommended

The house and land were as good or better than described on VRBO. Extremely well thought out in every regard. Modern conveniences coupled with nostalgic decor made it feel like the old Wisconsin but with everything you could ever need on a week getaway. Our whole family of six had a great time. My only regret was catching a single bass from the backyard creek but that is mostly due to the fact we spent most of our time boating and tubbing instead ;-}. Definitely good fishing, gorgeous sunsets and the two main trees in the back - priceless (100+ yrs old and breathtaking). Thanks to owners for a great time. A+++

Beautifully renovated, well appointed lake house

We spent three nights at this lovely lake house. Unfortunately the weather was not good for outdoor activities, but the view was beautiful through the large windows. We wee traveling with a baby and this house had all the supplies we needed for him. Also, the kitchen was newly renovated and had everything including spices, bags and wraps, and everything we needed to cook our meals. We would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing weekend

Beautiful home! We had a great weekend and enjoyed the wonderful views and sunsets. The kayaks were great to take a relaxing trip along the lake. Kenneth was very responsive and helpful.
