The home has a split system, indoor fireplace and outdoor firepit for your comfort and convenience. We supply wood for the fire for you.

Guests are welcome to park in the garage or outside the shack.

High quality, fresh linen is included for your stay.

The home is well equipped with a Nescafe Coffee Machine, coffee, tea, sugar, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and cleaning supplies.



Wi-Fi:

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available for your stay



Guest Access:

Guest will have access to the entire studio for the duration of their stay.

The Shack is located just outside the historic village of Millthorpe, set among a working truffière and rolling countryside. The setting feels wonderfully secluded and peaceful, offering uninterrupted views, fresh country air, and incredible night skies - yet you’re only a 2km drive from town.



Millthorpe is one of the Central West’s most loved villages, known for its heritage buildings, great food, and relaxed country charm. Popular local dining spots include Tonic Restaurant, The Old Mill Café, Millthorpe Providore, the Railway Hotel, and the Millthorpe Bowling Club, all offering something special for breakfast, long lunches or dinner.



The village is also well serviced with an IGA supermarket, post office, chemist, and medical centre, making it easy to settle in and enjoy your stay. In winter, truffle season adds an extra layer of magic to the area, with the surrounding truffière coming to life.

Getting Around:

The property is about a 15 minute drive into Orange and only a 2 minute drive into Millthorpe.



Other Things to Note:

NOT KID FRIENDLY - Only children under 1 year accepted.

NOT PET FRIENDLY - As the property is situated on a working farm, pets are strictly not permitted.



Interaction with Guests:

I plan on giving my guests space but am available where needed.
