I would rent again! House was very clean and beds were comfortable. All appliances worked great. Starting Toiletries were supplied and had a cute little coffee bar for those chilly mornings and boy did we get those! Our North Carolina blood was not prepped for a Michigan snow fall, but the fireplace and heat worked amazing to warm our bones! Decent sized fenced yard. We ended up leaving our dog back home with a family member, but the yard is perfect for your furry friends! House is only a few minutes from town and the highways. I recommend this home for your own little getaway to see all Midland has to offer.

The Pros: The house was very clean and I appreciated the fenced-in yard for my dog. There was plenty of hot water, even with 4 people showering in a row. The Cons: However, there were several things we found disappointing. The backyard was a mess. We were hoping to be able to enjoy sitting in the backyard with our dog, but the whole thing was overgrown with weeds, the grass hadn’t been cut in weeks, and there were large piles of dirt/branches. Plus the garbage cans were full and stunk bad, making being outside miserable. The second disappointment was that the amenities in the listing were not provided. There was no shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, or coffee as listed. There also were no paper towels or napkins and no kitchen towels. The last thing I’d like to note is that the 2 twin beds are actually a trundle bed. The bedrooms are very, very small and when the trundle was pulled out, there was no room for even my kids bags in the room, plus no closets, nightstand or lamp.

Very clean on the inside had no soap to take a shower with though. Also, could not sit onthe front patio without cleaning the chairs and table first.And arrived to garbage all over the side yard.

Cute remodeled house

This is a great location to downtown in a nice neighborhood. The home was tastefully renovated with modern amenities provided. The bed was super comfortable too. We arrived at night, in the rain and didn’t realize the garage was around the corner from the home. We parked in front of the house and ended up with a $30 parking citation. This information was noted in the house rules binder that we found the day we were checking out inside the coffee table drawer. Might be a good idea to list this information on the property details so future guests are not ticketed. Aside from that we enjoyed our stay.

Very cozy and comfortable

This was a great place for our family (2 adults and three small children) to stay. Much more relaxing and roomy than a hotel would have been. It had everything we needed and even gave the kids a little room to run in the backyard. Hopefully grass is coming to the backyard soon? We’d love to stay here again.
