Chill at Middleton's coolest surf shack
Chill. Curl up with a book under the porch. Hear the waves crash. Grab your surf board. Banter by the fire pit. That's life at The Middleton Shack.
Sleeping 9 people, with two individual living areas, a spacious garden and only two minutes walk from the beach, this versatile retreat oozes the vibe of the traditional surf shack, but includes all the comforts you could need. It’s a cute little escape, with the sound of the waves constantly rolling in.
THE Space
The Middleton Shack has two distinct buildings: The Shack and The Bunkhouse.
The Shack is everything you think of when you think old school surf getaway. It has two bedrooms, a master bedroom with a Queen bed, sleeping two, and a second bedroom with a triple bunk (double on bottom/ single on top). The Shack also has a functional kitchen with coffee machine, electric cooker and microwave, and a beautiful wood burning combustion heater to keep you cosy with a glass of red on winter nights.
The Bunkhouse is a newly renovated space on the same block. It includes a large open plan lounge for entertaining, an outdoor dining area and a bunk room which sleeps four in two sets of bunk beds.
Both buildings have split system air conditioning units.
The two buildings are not rented separately, ensuring your guest party has maximum access and privacy to the whole property.
Guest Access
Guests will be able to access both buildings. No part of the property is off limits.
Other things to note:
Dogs are welcome and there’s a fully fenced rear yard, even a kennel. No dogs inside The Shack and The Bunkhouse, furry friends can enjoy the outside only.
All linen provided (bedding, bath towels, hand towels, tea towels) you just need to bring your own beach towels.
There is no BBQ at the shack and the property is smoke free indoors and outside. There is to be no scaling or filleting of fish on the property at all please. Thank you for understanding and respecting these directives while holidaying at The Shack.

As per our Terms and Conditions, a valid credit card is required during the online check-in process for all bookings. It is important to note that the credit card provided may be charged for any damages, additional cleaning, or rubbish removal that may occur during your stay at the property.
Cancellation Policy
Guests can cancel free of charge until 60 days before arrival.
Guests will be charged 50% of the total price if they cancel within 60-30 days of arrival.
Cancellations within 30 days of arrival will not be refunded.
A booking fee may be charged to you at the owner's discretion.
Cancellations or refund requests by guests on arrival or during occupancy as a result of circumstances beyond the control of Escape Holiday Rentals will not be refunded. RLA298101.

Please note that the Owner has various rights as follows: Bookings are subject to confirmation by the Owner, and the Owner reserves the right to cancel a booking at any time. Travel insurance is recommended. If the full amount of rental is not received by the due date, the Owner may Retain ANY Deposit Paid, and re-let the property. Should you need to cancel your booking the owner reserves the right to Retain the payment received if we are unable to re-let for this period. All cancellations must be made in writing. RLA298101.
