The Space:

To avoid any confusion, potential guests should thoroughly read ALL information below before requesting to book. (We promise that the info below will better prepare you for your trip and answer 99% of your questions!) Thank you!



UNIT PERKS:

--This house has a sofa bed in the family room that accommodates up to 8 guests.

--This rental includes a kitchen with a fridge/freezer, sink, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, air fryer, blender & coffee maker. Essentials like plates, cups, cookware, utensils, & paper towel will be provided for your use.

--Along with coffee, creamer and sweetener are provided.

--Cooking spray, olive oil, salt/pepper are provided.

--A hair dryer and showering essentials/bath towels are available. Each bedroom has a dresser storage and hangers for clothing storage. There is also an iron and ironing board.

--Small beach toys for kids and and beach towels are provided for each guest.

--A few board games are available for your use.

--A fire pit/chairs are available in the backyard for your use. Guests can bring their own firewood.

--Guests can park up to three cars in the gravel area behind the house. Free public street parking is also in front of the house.

--Pet friendly. Please no animals on any furniture and please clean up after your pet

TECHNOLOGY:

--A large, flat screen smart TV is hooked up in your living area, though we recommend the outdoors over the tube! ;)

--High Speed Wifi is provided.

--A washer/dryer is available for your use in the home.



ADDITIONAL INFO:

We welcome guests of all backgrounds! However, due to prior disrespectful renters and property damage, we will only be accepting booking requests from:

--AirBnB users who are "verified" and who already have positive reviews from other hosts.

--Renters that are above the age of 25

--A maximum of eight guests per reservation. Extra guests are not allowed.

--We value our relationship with our neighbors, so events/gatherings/parties are not to be held by guests. To keep the unit in excellent condition for future guests, we are firm on these rules. We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.



***Note that the neighborhood itself is transitional, and while our guests have never had safety issues while staying with us, the area hosts eclectic mix of people: both locals and tourists. The police station is less than a mile away, along with many other popular restaurants and attractions.

***Note that if you are bringing infants/babies, the unit is NOT baby-proofed. (Furniture is not secured to walls, outlet blockers are not included, cabinets/drawers are not locked, etc.) You assume responsibilities for all guests.



**CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT INFO**

- Between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time)

Please note: We do not allow late check-ins, and there is no after-hours customer service available. Guests must arrive within the designated check-in window.

- Check-out Time: By 10:00 AM.

- Check-in Instructions: Detailed check-in instructions, including a key code for entry, will be sent via Airbnb messenger on the morning of your scheduled arrival.

- Cancellation Policy: We have a moderate cancellation policy. For full details, please refer to Airbnb’s cancellation guidelines.



**GUEST ACCESS**

Guests have full access to the entire property. At least one host is always available via text if you need assistance during your stay.



**PET POLICY:**

- We only allow 1 pet per stay

- We are pet-friendly, but please make sure your pet is quiet and respectful of the space and other guests. Please note that if you plan to bring a pet, there is a $50 pet fee.

- Pet must be crated if left alone in the home

- Pet must be on a leash when outdoors on the property

- Guests must pick up after their pet; a cleaning fee applies if extra cleanup is required

- Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds



**FOR STAYS LONGER THAN 21 DAYS**

An additional cleaning fee ($130) will be applied to ensure the continued cleanliness and maintenance of the unit, as our cleaners will be required to service the unit every 20 days. This charge helps us provide a high standard of cleanliness throughout your extended stay. Additionally, we will require a $300 refundable deposit, which will be returned promptly once our cleaners confirm there is no damage to the property.

A car is the best mode of transportation around the area. Feel free to bring your own bikes, as biking along the lakefront is beautiful.

Check-In Information:



- Guests will receive detailed check-in instructions and a key code for entry a couple of days before their scheduled arrival, as well as a reminder on the morning of their arrival. All communication will be sent via the direct booking messenger.



- Please note that Michigan City is on Central Standard Time (CST). Check-in is available between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Check-out is by 10:00 AM to allow time for cleaning and preparing the property for the next guests.



- Our cancellation policy is moderate, offering flexibility for your travel plans.
