Experience the grandeur of Waughambeham, a magnificent 1910 homestead set on serene farmland in Melrose, offering breathtaking valley views. This spacious 4-bedroom main house features meticulously renovated interiors, including two bedrooms on the ground level and two bedrooms on the middle level.

A top-level entertainment lounge/bar.
A panoramic view veranda.
A dedicated Sunlighten Infrared Sauna for wellness.
A shared, full-size tennis court with a basketball hoop.
This estate provides a comfortable, grand, and private retreat near Devonport, perfect for an unforgettable North West Coast stay.
The Space
Step inside the historic Waughambeham homestead, meticulously restored across three distinct levels.
Wellness Amenity: Guests have access to a dedicated Sunlighten Infrared Sauna for relaxation and well-being, adding a high-end spa experience to your stay.
Ground Level: This level features the grand entry hall, the main living room, the formal dining room, and the gourmet chef's kitchen. It also includes the cozy second lounge retreat area with a wood heater/fireplace and doors leading directly out to a deck and the gardens. This level also contains two King bedrooms (one with an ensuite bathroom) and convenient access to an additional bathroom with a shower.
Middle Level: This level contains the remaining two spacious and comfortably appointed King bedrooms (one of which can be configured as a Super King).
Top Level: This level is dedicated entirely to the spectacular Entertainment Lounge/Bar Room. This unique social space features a dedicated bar and comfortable seating, with doors that open directly onto the covered veranda to take in the truly panoramic views of the rolling Melrose valley.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms: The home includes four King-sized bedrooms (or three King bedrooms and one Super King). There are 3.5 bathrooms in total, including multiple shower facilities and separate toilets distributed across the levels for guest convenience.
Amenities: A dedicated laundry room features a modern washer and dryer combo. Comfort is ensured year-round with reverse-cycle air conditioning/heating, the wood heater/fireplace, a Nespresso machine in the kitchen, and a dedicated desk nook.

The large property itself, Waughambeham, is set on acres of manicured grounds, offering a quiet escape. While enjoying the seclusion, you are only a short drive to the conveniences of Latrobe (approx. 10 minutes) and the city of Devonport, providing easy access to the North West Coast's attractions.
Getting Around
The property's rural location makes a private vehicle essential for getting around and exploring the region. Enjoy ample off-street parking on the property grounds. Devonport is approximately 10-15 minutes away, offering access to car rental services.
Guest Access
Guests will have private and exclusive access to the entire 4-bedroom main house. Guests will also have shared use of the private, full-size tennis court and basketball hoop on the grounds with guests staying at the back unit, which is also a short-term rental.
