NEW Listing! ‘La Nouvelle Maison’ is located in the heart of Melbourne’s Historic Downtown. Simply walking out the front door will immerse you in a myriad of local restaurants and a vivid “beach town, live music, Margaritaville” vibe.

The space:
The house was built in 2015 and is a Key West-style home. It features a beautiful porch with two rocking chairs – perfect for a relaxing evening - and a paved, cozy backyard for entertaining. The home is new, complete with brand new modern appliances, but still has an easygoing, beach-town charm to it.

Guest access:

Upon arriving at the home, you alone will have access to the entire property. This includes the whole home, as well as the front porch, backyard, garage, and driveway. The front door includes a keyless lock, and you will be given the passcode just prior to your stay. The owners live in town and are available at any time.

Other things to note:

‱ OCCUPANCY: The limit for overnight guests is a maximum of 6 people, including children. After 6 guests, the fee is $50 per person, per night. Please let us know if you are a party of more than 6, so we can discuss the situation and provide extra sleeping arrangements.

‱ GATHERINGS: If you are a party of up to 12, consider booking the home attached to this property, which has an identical layout. You can find the other home under my profile.

‱ CHILDREN: Children are welcome but the max occupancy is six, including little ones. We raised our three kids in this home, and it was very safe for our children. That being said, there are wooden stairs going to the second floor; Parents – your call!

‱ Pets and Emotional Support Animals (ESA) are not allowed.

‱ BEDROOMS: The master bedroom is located on the first floor. A short staircase takes you to the second floor. The upstairs has the second and third bedrooms, as well as a cozy living room and a workstation with a desk and chair.

‱ BATHROOMS: The master bathroom is on the first floor and includes a walk-in shower. The second, upstairs bathroom has a tub with a shower. The third, half bathroom has a sink and toilet and is located on the first floor.

‱ TVs: Both living rooms have large 75-inch Smart-TVs for streaming; Hulu plus, with local channels is included.

‱ LAUNDRY: A full-sized washer and dryer are located on the first floor.

‱ PARKING: You will have access to two parking spaces. One is a covered garage and the other is a driveway.

Outstanding Property

The house is more beautiful in person than the photos, that’s a rarity in my past experiences. Keli was very quick to respond with any questions we had. We appreciated the excellent supply of coffee and tea. My husband and my daughter’s friend wanted to play basketball but the ball was a little flat. It does need some air. The location is phenomenal. The beds were so comfortable, as were the pillows. We would love to come back to this property again in the future. Many thanks to Keli, everything was perfect. They overall feel of the home and how it is decorated is so welcoming. The place was absolutely spotless when we arrived as well.

Great place to stay

Seven night stay-2 couples. Enjoyed golfing in the area, the many restaurants and entertainment venues within walking distance of the house, and the comfort of a very nice, roomy three bedroom house with a large kitchen and entertainment area. House was very functional and well maintained. Hosts responded quickly to a couple of minor items. Very helpful and responsive.

two week stay

This is a very nice, well managed property. The location is very good if you wish to be close to old historic downtown Melbourne. We liked the location for being able to walk to nice restaurants and bars, many of which had good music during our stay. It's also a short drive to the beach and grocery store. It's an easy walk to Riggs bait & tackle if you fish and Hornbelly Seafood if you want excellent fresh local fish to cook yourself. One thing to know about old downtown Melbourne is that it has all the charm AND the challenges (particularly homelessness) that come with many cities across the country. This is not a knock on this property but simply a fact of what to expect when there. Our contact was very responsive, even bringing a new hairdryer when we needed one. All in all, we would enjoy staying here again.

Lovely Home & Awesome Location

This was our 2nd stay, and again we enjoyed it tremendously. The house is very clean, well equipped, and spacious. The location can’t be beat
easy walk to shops and restaurants. The only thing that could have been better was if the upstairs bedrooms had queen or king sized tables. Would make it more comfortable for multiple adult couples. But for a family with kids it’s perfect. Highly recommend for people looking to stay in Downtown Melbourne.

Favorite place to stay in Melbourne!

We flew into Melbourne for a weekend to visit our son at FIT and decided to stay at the Nouvelle Maison and I am delighted that we did. The house was exactly as described; charming, spacious and ideally situated within walking distance of tons of restaurants. The owner was responsive, and the house was clean. I plan to book this home again the next time we come to visit.

This house was just as described. We came in for a baseball tournament. Location was great! It is such a great town, with very good restaurants. This house was close enough to the field. The home was clean. The property manager was very responsive. We were very happy that we chose this house.

Great Melbourne stay!

La Nouvelle Maison is an amazing home in a prime downtown location and minutes from the beaches! We will be back! The house was steps to great restaurants and bars with ample parking. We had great meals within walking distance at Ember& Oak, Mangetsu Meg O’Malleys. The house is beautiful with a spacious kitchen, dining room, and living room all open to each other. Our group of 5 easily moved around and made breakfast daily. Kitchen was well stocked. Table sat 6. Family room was spacious and TV with multiple streaming services. The back patio space was great! Garage fit one car with additional parking in back. Bed rooms were beautiful, well appointed and comfortable for our group. Washer and Dryer were a plus! Overall our stay was fantastic! Check in was easy, and the host was gracious! We will stay again.

Awesome House in Downtown Melbourne

If you are looking for a spacious, well-maintained house in a prime Downtown Melbourne location look no further. My husband and I booked La Nouvelle Maison for a week to stay with his sister, brother-in-law, and adult nephew. We couldn’t have been happier. The house is less than a block from E New Haven Ave where most of the shops, restaurants, and bars are located. I really liked being far enough to avoid most of the noise with easy walking distance to all the action. We had delicious dinners at The Dove and Meg O’Malleys. And went several times to Le Crepe De France and The Sun Shoppe Cafe for breakfast and lunch. The house has a spacious main living area with kitchen, dining room, and living room all open to each other. Our group of 5 gathered there comfortably everyday for meals and conversation. Kitchen is well-equipped. The dining table is large. And the living room seating is comfortable. This area opens up to a nice backyard. When the sun went down behind the garage it was perfect for us to sit and enjoy the beautiful January FL weather. The main bedroom is on the main level with a king bed, large closet, and modern bathroom. My sister-in-law and brother-in-law loved it. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms that share a bath. It’s quite open as you reach the top of the stairs with a nice area to watch TV. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Check in was easy, and the host was responsive and helpful when we had questions. We hope to stay again next year and won’t hesitate to recommend it to others.

Great Location, Wonderful Home

The house was the perfect setup with grandma downstairs in the master suite, and our family (2 adults, 4yo, 1yo) upstairs. Beautiful kitchen with everything needed. It was perfect to be able to walk to shops and restaurants and a quick drive over to the beach.

Our stay in historic downtown Melbourne

We had a very pleasant stay in this property. It was clean, had all the amenities we needed (including a basketball hoop for the kids!), and was close to the old town of Melbourne with restaurants, shops, etc. The backyard was a plus as we had beautiful weather.

Great Property!
