All of this surrounded by the many wedding venues, wineries, farm gates and attractions of the Yarra Valley. ‘Golden Valley’ homestead is a jewel in the Yarra Valley region.
An incredible wrap around verandah & huge deck overlooks the unmatched expansive view as far as the eye can see. Our modern Australian homestead offers luxurious and relaxing accommodation for up to 8 people in 4 bedrooms.
Sitting at the top of the ridge, the house has exceptional views from every room with many magical times of the day to enjoy including sunrises over the ridge and sunsets over Kinglake National Park. A large wood fireplace with wood stack separates the living room into 2 loungeroom spaces - a cosy loungeroom setting at one end, featuring 2 sofas for relaxing and a large television with streaming services. The second living area features 2 large armchairs, nestled close to the comforting wood fireplace and in front of a picture window, a perfect place to read and recuperate.
A 12-seater oak table features in the dining room, perfect for long lunches and celebration dinners, overlooking the valley.
Our home offers a modern, Shaker-style kitchen, fully equipped with quality appliances including Fisher & Paykel dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine. The bedroom wing offers 4 large bedrooms for guests to enjoy. The master bedroom features exceptional views of the property, private entrance to the verandah, Queen sized bed, walk-in-robe and ensuite with rain shower head. Bedrooms 2 & 3 also feature Queen sized beds, views of the valley and built-in robes. Bedroom 4 is equipped with 2 single beds, also exceptional views and built-in robes. Each bedroom has it’s own Delonghi convector heater and ceiling fan. The main bathroom features a bath and shower, next to a separate toilet. The bedroom wing can be closed off to the living space, a perfect separation if needed.
A large outdoor covered deck provides another entertaining space with 10-seater outdoor table and chairs and gas BBQ. This deck leads to the undercover Spa. An outdoor firepit is close by for those fresh winter nights.
Guest Access: Guests have access to the entire house, with the exception of the large sheds at the property which are locked for private storage. Please note the property is located at the top of a steep gravel road, a normal car can get up without issue usually. Drive to conditions.
