The space
Number One, Florence Court is a renovated mid 1930’s Art Deco classic with original period lights, fireplaces, lead light, cornice and timbers. It has been restored and refurbished with a collection of original designer furniture and artworks. This is bespoke inner Melbourne living at its best.

Located on a wide tree lined street with Melbourne’s premier park, Albert Park with it’s stunning lake at one end and Middle Park beach at the other. The apartment sits in a delightful landscaped garden with lawns and outdoor benched to enjoy the sun.

This sunny, front apartment with garden outlook is one of five apartments in a heritage listed block built in the mid-1930s. The three-bedroom apartment, which can sleep five, provides a stylish 'home away from home' for the short stay visitor or the seasoned traveler looking for something special.

With its own entrance, this fully self- contained apartment is more like a small, two story home. Downstairs is an entrance hall, sunny living room with flat screen TV with Netflix, Bluetooth sound bar and a separate dining room that comfortably seats six that opens to the well-equipped kitchen. The kitchen features a fully integrated dishwasher, fridge and washing machine/dryer. Complimentary Nespresso, teas and all the pantry basics are provided for guest’s convenience and pleasure.

Upstairs is a large north facing main bedroom with stunning double lead light doors opening on to a Romeo and Juliet balcony with city skyline views. The bedroom is furnished with a combination of collected original period and modern furniture. The French Art Deco 1890's queen sized bed has hotel quality bedding. The second bedroom has similar period charm and comfort with a double bed. The sunny third single bedroom has a garden outlook.

The upstairs bathroom is a restored Art Deco classic with a generous deep shower bath. Toiletries and a hair dryer is provided.

For guests that recognise and appreciate the finer things this apartment has it all in abundance. From the moment you enter the apartment you are greeted by a 19th Century French Boulle inlaid credenza. Step in to the lounge and see a rare original Hans Wegner four-seater couch, a classic Mid Century Modern Walter Knoll leather swivel lounge chair and a striking marble coffee table in front of the cozy glowing gas fireplace.

The dining room features the original Art Deco fireplace, stunning furniture with a designer chair, lead-light lamp and banquette setting and a marble top dining table that comfortably seats six. The quality and luxury continue in the kitchen with designer joinery, handmade Spanish tiles, a Smeg 4 burner gas cooker for the serious chef, Estelle cookware and stylish Gordon Ramsey Denim Royal Doulton crockery. Everything is provided for the chef’s pleasure.

The apartment comes with a convenient washer dryer in the kitchen, a drying rack, iron, an outdoor washing line and an iron and ironing board.

Well behaved pets are welcome. Nearby Albert Park is a popular off lead park.

The property is strictly smoke free. No smoking in apartment. Guests can smoke outside on the bench outside the front door.

NO PARTIES
Guests are welcome to visit but parties are strictly not permitted at the property at any time, under any circumstances.

Well managed, quiet pets are welcome.
Pets must be kept quiet and off the beds and furniture at all times.
Guests should bring their pet’s bedding and bowls.
Owners are responsible for their pet’s waste and any damage caused.

NOISE AND NEIGHBOURS
Guests must have consideration for the neighbours at all times.
Noise and amplified music must be turned down between 10:00pm. and 9am.

KEYS
Make sure to leave the keys on the coffee table and in the lock box on departure.
